I love Linkin Park but most of my friends like Green Day. I am going with Linkin Park. My favorite song by Linkin Park is New Divide.

Wow, this is a popular comparison. I say Green Day, but that's only because they're my favorite band, I don't necissarily think that they're BETTER than LP.

Why does everyone like New Divide?! It SUCKS compared to songs like Papercut and Points of Authority. Have you ever even HEARD of Hybrid Theory?

Huh. Never noticed before. But, dude (owner of this thread), go out, buy Hybrid Theory, and maybe Meteora, listen to any of the songs (preferably Numb, Faint, Papercut, Points of Authority, maybe Somewhere I Belong), and THEN tell me what your fav. song by them is.

Niether if we're taking into account anything that was released post-American Idiot for Green Day and post-Minutes to Midnight for Linkin Park. Everything before Linkin's random singles and GD's 21CB, I would have to say Green Day.
