The year is 1967. We are part of the 173 Airbourne Brigade. We have been recently deployed in Vietnam. Most of us are rookies. There are some who have seen combat, but not enough. Fighting in the region of Dak To has sent us on a search and destroy mission onto a hill nicknamed Hill 875 for its elevation. 330 from the 2nd Battalion 503rd Airborne Infantry, 173rd Airborne Brigade are making their way into a meatgrinder...

(Sorry. You guys might not be in my time zone. Also, this is the first battle on Hill 875 so your dad problably didn't die up here. Alpha, I guess you could be an engineer. That means you would most likely carry a M16, but for equipment you might have some explosives) |

I stood up. "Today, we are going on a mission as part of Operation MacArthur. We will go on a search and destroy mission in the Kontum Province. Our mission is to clear our any NVA or VC positions along the way. A notable area to search is here. Hill 875. Not much to say 'cept for expect heavy causalties." |
