I think its B because this was way past the times of the Berlin Wall (When I say the wall, I mean the entire album.)

The Berlin Wall was still up at the time the Wall was released, and was causing almost as big of a controversy as it was about 10 years later when it finally came down. However, the Wall isn't about the Berlin Wall. You'd have to wait for the Division Bell to get that stuff. What the Wall *is* about, though, is this rockstar who blames everyone else for his despair and problems -- most specifically his mother, the British Royal Army(I think that's what it's called), his teacher, and his spouse -- and isolating himself from the world because he really only believes in himself. He starts to hate people, becoming almost Fascist, and showcasing his hatred/flawed ideas at his concerts while stoned on some drug. But as we all know, his despair was really caused by his own self-indulgence, and he later realized that -- but too late -- and decides to "tear down his wall". We aren't told what happens to him after that, though, and Roger Waters left the end up for speculation. But the whole concept was meant to applied to everyday life, and all of us can relate to it at some point and in some way. It's a universal message, really.

Like straf said. Its really hard to explain, but it's something towards agaisnt school. That how he felt bad and a wall is around and wants to break free like "tear down the wall". The cool thing is that he burned down the school he went.

The Wall is about a guy who builds a wall in his mind to try and block out all the bad things that had been happening to him, but then he eventually tears down the wall and goes to be around people again. Or something like that >.>

And Gary you're exactly correct. I've watched the movie 19 times, yes, I've counted. And I've listened to the album about, hmm... 1000 TIMES!!!

Does anyone understand the part of the movie when he's building his Army and all of that scene part. I don't understand that and that only, the rest of the movie makes total sense.

By the way, the movie is rated PG-13. So ask for your parents permission, not! (I'm older than 13!)

The movies rated R >.> And that army scene is that Fascist thing I mentioned in my post: It's really a concert, but he's on drugs and doesn't realize that and so trys to spread his Fascist ideas to the crowd.

But you can pretty much watch an edited version on cable TV.

I wasn't aware that it came on TV. Besides, you wouldn't get the full story anyway on TV. They'd have to cut out 'Young Lust', 'Empty Spaces', 'The Trial', and a few others.
