The year is 4582 LA, or Laser Age. Mankind's technology has reached near-impossible heights. We have hover-cars. We have laser-tech weapons. We have spaceships that go the speed of light. We have super-strong and volatile materials. We use radioactive liquids as a fuel. But there's something. Something missing. Something that has gone through humans' past wrongdoings and good deeds. It is the Earth. We don't live on Earth anymore. It happened on year 2850 AD. At that time, the heat of the Earth was just too overwhelming. There wasn't even a drop of rain in the season we once called 'Winter'. The Global Warming effect has not even reached its peak, yet we just could not stand it anymore. The governments of every country knew they had to do something. But what? They pondered about for a solution for nearly a decade. They couldn't find any kind of answer to the worldwide problem. They turned to their last resort. Escape from Earth. By that year, many exoplanets, or planets that orbit other stars, have been found to have life. All they need to do is... Year 2855 AD. Governments of all countries held hands and worked together to build a massive spaceship that could hold Earth's population. Finally, everyone boarded the spacecraft Bahamut X51, and set off on one of the planets that contained life. Now back to the present. We were curious how our previous home planet was doing. Did it still contain traces of life? Or was it a dull planet like Mars and Venus? Or even, is it there anymore? We had to find out. NASA sent out a manned spacecraft towards the spot of our old home. What could happen? They just go there, get some rock samples, snap pictures, find life, and then come back. Indeed, they did just that. Excluding the 'come back' part. They COULDN'T come back. They crashed on planet Earth. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rules: No ubering No godmoding No killing any players without the 'victim''s permission No romance please. Goodness. You're stuck on a dull planet and you wanna do some mushy stuff? Get real. Profanities not allowed. Strictly not allowed. Admins manually chosen. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note: Yes, Earth is still there. Quite lucky eh? The Sun has become a small star and will only provide little light. The Moon is gone due to being too far away from Earth's gravity field. Life APPARENTLY does not exist on Earth. You do not have weapons. Your crashed spacecraft is a research-ship. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CS out soon.

Name: Maxwell Thomas Ag/e: 47 Bio: Maxwell started programming very early on in his life. At around 13 years of age he created an almost exact copy of Pacman, simply by memory of various codes. Now, he has been selected to go on the mission. He gladly accepted the invitation, unaware that it may be his last journey ever. APPEARANCE FOO'!: Medium height, skinny build, crew uniform, slightly gray slicked hair, small gray beard, dark brown eyes, slight wrinkles. Objectives: Create a non-manned station, for further research without the endangering of Human lives. The station will, theoretically, be both automatic and manual, switching between the two. It will be self-adaptive, creating new systems based on it's requirements. Experience: Very experienced programmer, and has a lot of knowledge of machinery.
