Well, im one of the only kids I know of today who actually like the classic rock that the 60s, 70s, and 80s had to offer. So i was wondering if there were any other classic rock loving kids out there today... Name some of your favorite classic rock artists. :D

I hate the fact that 80s Rock can be classified as Classic Rock when it's such a step-down from the 70s. Alas. Anyhoo, I'll just get a few names from my last.fm... The Smiths, Rush, Morrissey, Sparks, Foreigner, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Queen, Golden Earring, Jet (Glam Rock Jet, not the new Jet.) , Sweet, T. Rex, The Kinks, Jerusalem, Klaus Nomi, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Small Faces, Cheap Trick, The Troggs, Big Star, The Beau Brummels, Blondie, The Rolling Stones, Bee Gees, Tommy James & The Shondells, Lou Reed, The Monkees, Elton John, Arthur Brown, Gryphon, James Gang, The Cars, Hanoi Rocks, Pink Floyd, Molly Hatchet, Black Sabbath, Electric Light Orchestra, The Beatles.

Yeah, I know whatcha mean... I like little of the 80s, but its still classic rock I suppose lol... Wasn't Rush, Foreigner, and Queen all around the 80s period? And I have to say, I haven't heard of quite a few of those bands... :O

Foreigner and Queen were more mid-70s. Rush's best albums were in the 70s unless you count Moving Pictures. About the only obscenely 80s artists/bands in there are Hanoi Rocks, Klaus Nomi, Morrissey and The Smiths. All of them (maybe not Hanoi Rocks) are essential 80s groups.

Huh... I haven't heard of any of them, ofcourse I never ventured that far into 80s music hehe... Besides the one-hit-wonders lol, like Cheap Trick... I'm more into Buffalo Springfield, Rolling Stones, Bob Seger, the oldies... I do looove the Georgia Satellites from the 80s though...

To my memory Cheap Trick are 70s and have had tons of hits. I do however love Rolling Stones and Buffalo Springfield.

Really? All I can recall by them are "I want you to want me" and one other song I can't remember the name of... What other popular songs did they do?
