Alright. So I am having a problem with the graphics on the ROBLOX on my computer, and i havent seen this glitch on forums anywhere.
The problem is that the bricks in a game always have a forcefield kind of thing outlining them (without the purple and colour changing), and it depends on whether the brick is anchored or not, or whether its a player. On anchored bricks, there is ALWAYS a gray outline on the bottom edges and corners, always. The problem used to even show up for transparent anchored bricks, but now with an update or something when the anchored brick is not transparent, you cant see the gray anymore.
and with unanchored bricks, there is always a black kind of forcefield around it.But im pretty sure whenever the unanchored brick is fully attached to the ground with inlet or something, the forcefield things are completely gone and the brick is normal.
and also another thing, when an achored brick seems to be displaced in the game, like cframed or something, a yellow forcefield comes around the top half and the gray forcefield of the anchored brick stays at the bottom.
and on characters, theres always a forcefield thing around their entire body but each person has a different colour.. like green yellow black etc.
these problems dont have an affect on playing the game but its just incredibly annoying....
any help would be greatly appreciated and thanx in advance :)

Wowww, that's really bizarre..
I've seen something similar to that
In the LOL tycoon, some of the walls had a yellowish forcefield.. but other than that, I haven't seen it. |

|
yeah.. ive tried pretty much all i know. I removed ROBLOX and reinstalled.. i tried roblox under setting for different windows versions... tried it on different accound on my computer...
i think it seems kinda like a tool maybe the roblox people use because the forcefield changes, like i said before, for different properties, and also it mustve been a roblox update that made the forcefields invisible when the brick is invisible.. like i said before... lol. |

Could you make a screenshot of the problems and upload it as a decal on ROBLOX? It could probably help. |

Heres the decal. you might need to paste it in your place on a big brick to see the text.. but all the text is is showing the character and showing the grey parts and yellow parts on bricks. |
|
|
sorry i checked and you cant see the text anyway :P
but thats how it looks basically. |

Ah, I think I get it.
Go to ROBLOX studio,
then at the menu bar press Tools > Settings...,
and it should give a message about options that can make ROBLOX unstable,
just press Ok.
At the settings window, Press physics.
Uncheck everything under the Display tab and press Close.
I hope it helped ;) |

waaaitt... wait.. i go to the places that i used to go which never had lag, and now im lagging pretty horribly with random bits of no lag. is it possible changing the setting made my roblox 'unstable'?? |

You could try to go to Task manager,
got to processes,
search for RobloxApp.exe,
right-click it
and go to Priority > Above normal to make it faster.
I hope it helps ;) (it works for me) |
|
|
thing is yoshi.. i would try that.. but my task manager is screwed up.
it doesnt show the top sides or bottom along with any of the options like processes or that or the X and - and fullscreen. its just the white box where it shows the tasks with the little grey border around it.
lol at my computer. |
