I saw two brutes walking towards me. I unsheathed my knives, and disappeared into the Shadows. I couldn't fight two at once. Get to the Museum. Those were my objectives. Aww Screw it. I leapt from the Shadows, and plunged my Knives into the Eyes of one of the brute, killing him. The other one made a swipe at me, I stuck a Knife in his hand as it swung towards me. He bellowed with pain, and kicked me into a Wall. I grunted and got up, and lunged at him again. A few minutes later I was a bit battered and dusty, but the brutes were dead. Now, Museum. |

Noland finished pulling out the metal object from the man's leg "Alright you should be fine" Noland said walking off. He decided to keep the spike as a souvenir "Alright I can find the museum on my HUD and the guys will be on there way" Noland said checking his HUD's map |

I peeked around the corner. 2 Brutes and about a dozen Grunts. Step one, get some cover and hide. I turned back and found a good pile of debris. Good enough. I peek my Sniper through. Step 2. Haste. I aim toward the Brutes. In about a couple of pulls, the Brute's were down. The Grunts turned around, confused. Too late. I get up from my cover and take a Plasma Pistol. Not what I want, but these things packed a punch. My fail-safe. I followed my HUD towards the library. |

My HUD was partially broken, but I could still see the route I needed to take. I was trying to avoid Covenant Patrols. So far, so good. |

I took a stealthy route, no Covenant Patrols so far. This was good, the Museum was close on my HUD now. |

"APACHE shadow reporting in on route to bomb delivery" Noland said as he ducked behind a car "Covenant forces dead ahead" He said when something intrigued him. There was a covenant there but unlike any covenant solider he had seen "what the?" Noland spoke into the comm link |

I tried my Com Link. Dead. I couldn't contact anyone. I swore, and then swore again as a Plasma Beam took down my Shields. I ducked behind cover, and took out my SMGs. I chuckled, and popped out of cover, and fired wildly at my attacker. I twitched many times as I fired, sending Bullets into my own feet and Arms. I took down the jackal, then began running towards my objective. |

Static filled the COM. The rest of the Apache's were scattered around. I saw it. The museum. I stop and dove behind cover. 30 Jackals, about 20 Brutes, and about 5 Grunts. 5 others one the Plasma turrets, or 'Shades.' "If you guys can here me, don't take direct route, go around back. About 100 Covenant guarding direct." I say into the COM. Unsure if it would reach the others. I then start going around. Wait, why would the Covenant guard the Museum so badly? Answer, they want something. |

I then new something. The Spartan 6 tune whistle. Covenant couldn't reconize it. And we were taught it as fail-safe. I open external Coms and start to whistle sharply. 'Olly Oll Oxen Free' All in the Free, we are all free. |

He must be inside. Those were some heavy fortifications. I grinned madly. This would be fun. I darted inside a Building, Reloading my SMGs. Some part of my Brain knew I should probably go around back, but it was silenced by the flood of adrenaline, and the rest of my brain. |

I popped up out of a Window, and fired off SMG rounds. I continued doing this until I was out of ammo. Which was about a minute. I hadn't thought to bring much ammo. I threw my SMGs to the ground, and unsheathed my Knife. I then ran outside the building, melting into the Shadows again. |

The remaining forces organized and now oriented. Thermal trackers... They got him... They fired into the Darkness. Dammit, he forgot thermal. I continue swearing as I take out the Brutes one by one. |
