"Any remainging APACHES, WE NEED BACKUP!" I screamed over the COM. "Noland, if your here, start shooting." I said in luck I then watched as a Grunt arming a FuelRod cannon blecthed. |

Me and my Squad continue on foot, searching for any signs of other soldiers or APACHE men. As we turn a corner, going down a hill, i see a small land bridge crossing over to the other side of the hill overhead. (Think of Sierra 117 in H3)
I see a Brute Captain holding a Marine by his neck.
"Where are the APACHE!?" It asked. "Im not saying a word!" The marine spat back. The Brute then growled. "TELL ME!" "You'll have to pry it from my cold dead hands!" The Brute smiled, about to strike. I then pull out my AR and fire at the brute. It looked, dropping the marine and jumping down, running at us. "Fire!" I yelled to the squad. |

I ran, my Shields faltering. I leapt out of the Shadows, Knives Raised, plunging down towards their leader, a Brute. Time seemed to slow to a Crawl. I brought the knives plunging towards his face, and a Fist Grasped my Hands and held me, another one punched me in the gut. Once, Twice, and it grabbed my Legs, and pulled. My armour cracked audibly, and I screamed in pain as my Limbs were dislocated. It dropped me to the ground, and it stamped on my Torso, crushing my armour. It then grunted, and left me on the ground to die. |

I then shot the Brute. It had gottem Peter. No way in hidding now. I am a new Spartan. WE are the new Spartans. I thought over and over again. We don't fail... I grab my battle rifle and srpint out. 'We don't fail, Wedon't Fail... We Don't fail...' |

I coughed up blood onto my broken visor, some of it spilling onto the ground. Everything came in enormous clarity. The Insanity gone. |

A Brute came up to me. Charging. It had dropped it's weapon. As it runs up to me, about to swing, I punch it with all the muscle in my Left arm. Shields flaring. It falls off balance and onto the ground as it's own metal helmet dented and crushed into it's brain. I then get in cover, reloading. |

Noland saw his brothers fighting "Time to end this!" He yelled as a brute chieftain ran at him. Noland stood there waiting for the moment. The Chieftain got close enough for Noland to jump on his back. Noland then took the head armor of the chieftain and used the horn to stab him in the head |

I looked up from the dead brute as i heard the same hovering noise we all hated. "Snips." "Sir, we got two Phantoms, filled with 4 groups of grunts, about 4 Brute Captains." I nod. |

I then break out of cover into run. Jackals firing wildly at me. As my shields halved, the Jackals shield's raised, exposing their grim legs. I proned onto the ground and shot at the group, immobilizing them for good. |

Strange Music... Strange Patterns in my Head... as my body struggled to cling to life... the world wasn't the bright playground it was minutes ago... but I saw what everyone else saw now... a Ruined City... once grand... and killed by the covenant... just as they had killed me. I wouldn't last much longer. I slowly grabbed my Knife from beside me, and cut the Dog Tags from around my neck. I grasped them firmly in my Right hand. Delphine... I wondered where she was... I hoped she was okay... |

Noland then grabbed the gravity hammer of the dead brute and went into a frenzy smashing every covenant in sight |

As the Brutes all dead, and the Jackals completely slaughtered. The Grunts run in cowardness. I mow some down and notice Peter. I curse. "Peter's down!" I yell as I take off my helmet and get my medical kit out. |

I looked at the Knife in my Left hand... I couldn't move it anymore. My suit had locked up in the Legs and my left hand. It was locking up as my body shut down and accepted it's fate. The darkness crept in at the edges of my vision, promising peace, rest, and the cold comfort of the grave. I tried to hold it back. |

"You ok Peter?" I ask the bloodied figure. "You hear me?" I finish. The Visor on his helmet broke. Leaving his face, pale na dalmost lifeless. I then get out a data pad and start looking at his wounds. "Crap." I mutter. |

I then get out the Bio foam and remove some of his limb armor. His suit had basically locked down. I immediatly start filling with biofoam. |

"Tom..." I coughed out more blood. "Give these... to my Sister... tell her I love her..." I held out the Dog Tags with my Right hand, and let my head fall backwards onto the ground. "God... I hope she's okay..." |

I grabbed the dogtags from his hands and looked at him for a second. I then start treating once more. |

"Hey Noland." I say as sweat dripped from my head. "We need a Pelican ASAP." I say loudly. "Hey Pete, if your with me, we are going back to base, where it's safe, stay with us." |

The Darkness engulfed ever more of my vision. I struggled to keep my eyes open. I felt my Right arm lock up, still raised. "My suit's locking up... I'm dieing..." my body tried to cough again, but I was too weak to even do that. "My Lungs are crushed... my limbs are dislocated... my heart is stopping..." I said as my heart struggled to pump. "I can't tell her in person Nole..." My Right Eye, which was visible, was half closed and sorrowful. "I won't make it..." |

As the squad fight the brutes, i hear a slamming noise. "What the.." I look and see a Chieftain running at us. "OH CRAP!" I then start running at it, shooting at its head over and over. "DIE ALREADY YOU PEACE OF SH-" The Chieftain wacked me into a tree, but luckly i stuck it with a plasma grenade before i was hit.
The Chieftain frowned and went flying into the air, dead. |

"APACHE?!" Someoene spoke. "Men! Double-time it!" the voice yelled. "We will be there in 2 minutes!" The voice yelled, the COM went dead. |
