O.K., we all know that a lot of things can be rented and a lot can be bought. But what if we, the users, had the option of renting for how ever long we want (Prices would grow accordingly, and max 30 days) or buying an item. Buying would cost more than renting obviously. Here is an example: (This is an EXPENSIVE GEAR)
[Gear]
Cost: 100 R$ per day
3500 R$ to buy.
Rent time: [Insert Number of Days] | Cost: [100R$ (Cost per day) x days rented]
Buy: 3500 R$ [Equal to 30 days +500 (The buying add on)]
Make sense? If it doesn't I will now show a renting/buying scenerio with the Eggdentifier 2010:
Eggdentifier 2010
Cost: 36 R$ per day
1580 R$ to buy.
Rent time: [7 days] | Cost: [250 R$]
Buy: 1580 R$
Of course you can change the number of days you want to rent with a minimum of 1 day, and a maximum of 30 days. This will give users more control over their purchases and allow them to try before they buy. Please note that this applies to more than just gear items! It could be used for hats, heads, and packages too. This could even apply to user created content such as shirts, t-shirts, and pants. Possibly, the owner of the content could choose the renting price per day and the buying add on, while the game takes that and decides the buying price [Formula: Cost per day x 30 (max number of days) + the buying add on].
I think that's about it for now. Let me know what you guys think by posting below! Thanks for reading!. |
