There are at least 10 sticky-breaking posts in Scripting Helpers and Scripters combined everyday; more in all of the other forums. People refuse to read the rules, and refuse to stop violating the rules. Reporting does NOTHING: The mods seem to look for posts which violate the GENERAL FORUM RULES, but NOT the FORUM-SPECIFIC rules!!!! It's annoying and interrupts LOGICAL conversation in forms when people ask for or say things that directly disregard the forum's stickies.

Agreed. Forum Bans should be given to people who don't read the rules: They should be able to READ OR POST after breaking the rules.

My post was agreed by an epik person! Nao I feel special :3 But this is my solution: When they go into the forums for hte first time they are shown the forum rules before they post and they have to click 'I agree' jsut like the ToS and EULA And if they don't visit for so long (Unless of course the have like 300 or 400 posts) then they are shown the rules again? :3 Might help. Of course getting the mods ban happy again would help too.

No one reads the ToS, it would not reduce it.

I know that but if they click 'I agree' then , by what the ToS says, they ar bound by law to uphold what is written in it. Because they said they read it and agreed to it. So I'm not saying they will read the rules. But they were warnd about what not to do and the consequences. This should lead to swifter and more harsh rules. (EG longer bans for breaking the basic rules)

Mods should enforce the stickies, that's all I have to say. :P Anyways, the mods seem to ignore threads which aren't in the right place.

Yeah, a little pop-up should come up before you enter the forums for the first time when you enter them with the rules for whatever subforum you selected. Support!

Taslem, you do have a point, the mods only look at the general forum rules and no the specific rules and thats why here on S&I good ideas are ambushed by "I WANTZ ROBuX bc NAo"or ,"Free BC ruleZ" and are pushed down, the mds need to enofce the specific forum rulez.

The mods can't constantly check every thread. They do enforce the stickies, but unless they are on to check it, it depends whether a rule breaking thread is made or not. Not to mention people bumping the threads, keeping it at the top.

@Dal I mean, allow people to report them, and have the mods actually take action.
