Instead of the painful and long typing to script, why not have a menu to create the script? Its like this: -------------------------------- The menu will have things that are commonly scripted like guns and GUIs To script a gun, you select brcks or a brick and open up the script menu You select the "Make a gun" button of something like that and select the sound; the bullet impact sound, the bullet shape; if the gun makes shells; and a bunch of other things To make a GUI, you press the "Make a GUI" and make a box to where the GUI will appear; if the thing is related to anything; the text it will have in it; ETC (Do we really need to script to overlap bricks?) I know, this may sound like BL stuff with its wrench thing, but this thing allows more things to create than BL. {[~Physics exist because we believe it exist~]}

No, you can make this by scripting, ironically enough.

I agree with this idea. It should be easier for the newbies to make their own guns. Good idea.

Well, the idea of long scripts that have to be typed out to make a simple gun and such n such is past my level of scripting (Which is very very low) So... people can use the menu if they wanted to make something and script it quickly. If its something more complcated or they want to pace themself when building, they can do it the old fashion way. ------------------------------------------------------------- {[~Physics exist because we believe it exist~]}

people make good things because they try. if you really want to be able to make cool thing you have to learn to script. effort is key.

This is 100% scriptable, plus, this would be extremely hard for the admins to make, or easy, to Anaminus (I think thats how you spell it?)

Ok, I wasn't even looking for this, I was looking for a suggestion to add user uploaded sound back, albeit with moderation, and I saw this Thread. Don't change the scripting cause a noobie is too lazy to figure it out. Its not fair to the people who already know it, plus if you put some effort into it, its not too hard to figure out. Try experimenting, plus use the Wiki. Thats bout all I can say. Sorry, but your gonna need to try to firgure it out the way it is.

Easier scripting would change the ways of giving your computer commands. Just leave scripting the way it is.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL? There are infinite things you can do with scripting. Yes, infinite. That's already possible to make, with scripting, precisely. And anyways, that's what free models are for.

There's no way to simplify scripting. Scripting is scripting. Simplifying Lua commands is like making a new script engine.

"There are infinite things you can do with scripting. Yes, infinite. " Well, since Lua only supports about 13 decimal places, no, there isn't infinite things you can do with scripting. Also, Hai julien :3

There is infinite things you can do with scripting... The only limit is the capacity of your hard drive.

make a gun!!! cant do that, for every songle gun you need a different bullet, different sound, different trajectort, and to top it all off, if you need shell for it you need a different mesh for every gun. This would be the most stupid idea ive hered all day. That would me having millions of different 'make a gun' script bar.

don't tell anyone I said this but: Just use free models to "Make a Gun" That's what they are there for. To save time on common tedius tasks. Like making a regen button. Even if you code it yourself, it's still a regen button. Congratulations: You just wasted 15 minutes making something that you could have gotten and used YESTERDAY
