so my dad got me 1 years turbo bc and like 5 months of it was wasted since my dad had to install linux in the laptop. i was so dissapointed when it said it only runs on microsoft. dont tell me a way to make it run cos im no linux geek i know absoulutely nothing about it apart from teh internet. just tell me if it will ever be availible for linux. |

I think the devs are lazy. OGRE supports linux, they proably used some code that only windows can use and don't want to rebuild Roblox from the ground up for multi-platform support. |

That's your problem if you wasted the money. Seriously, who joins without reading, gets a membership and ends up finding out that it doesn't work. >_>
Anyways, ROBLOX will never work on any other computer system besides Microsoft. There were some rumours about Mac being worked on but that's it. |

and to get back on subject there are ways to run roblox on linux, I believe it is a program called roblox4linux. Using that software you could run roblox albeit a little slower perhaps. You could also try using the Linux program known as W.I.N.E. to run roblox. I hope you can fix your problem, though honestly I would recommend just installing windows as a second partition so you can switch between linux and windows. For more information GOOGLE. |

I know that you now have Microsoft Windows back on it because I read that thing at the top of the response page but this also applies to other people working off of Linux that want to play this game. I have been Intently working with WINE on a Linux Roblox Runner sort of thing. Basically I am fooling roblox into thinking that its being played on a Windows Computer. The only issue that I have come up with so far is that The Roblox Set-up Downloads i have found are Invalid. IF I can get a valid download that isn't corrupted or virus infested or anything like that I can post something walking through how to completely make it work on Linux. For now I'm waiting to find out Wether or not builder-man can supply me with a Trust-worthy download. |

Yet that isn't for ever, you see once your computers are fixed its roblox away for you. Me on the other hand had windows installed, and I got a virus....to sum up what it did.... it corrupted system32. So my last resource was linux, us linux user's want this to play. Oh and by the way, every one who says "Use wine/other to run roblox" IT DOSNT WORK! Stop giving linux people suggestions if you don't run linux idiots!!!! Linux needs to be supported!
