Chapter Two: Training time
Wén woke up to a bright morning. Birds were singing the grass was flowing and the sound of the clattering of blades and lunging of spears ripped away the peace. It was time to train to be a hoplite. Wén was twisted and turned he fought like a lion and had the courage of a vulture. The days went by and he went with them. Four weeks of intense training had past but two more months lay ahead as he was chosen to join an army of elite hoplites. His mind’s eye pictured him standing there strong and fierce with weapons clutched in hand on a field of victory. But victory would not be so easy because many people from Banland were ordered over to server as more minions for Dalax. Also Dalax summoned stronger minions as the time went by. After the months went by Wén was officially crowned elite hoplite by the Telamons and he had a last feast with all the other elite hoplites before they set off to doom. They all slept in the barracks for the last time but in the night Wén was disturbed by a winding dream of great power a wised old man visited him in the dream and introduced himself as Orbwork he held a great blue orb and wore a great blue hooded cloak. He told Wén to stare into the orb at first there was nothing exept the reflection of his face but then it cleared out to be a vision of Dalax's plans. Hordes of minions marched through the Black Mountains ready for war. They marched north and west. At the same time ships of minions where taken over from Banland and joined Dalax's legions. In the south evil humanoids marched under the order from Dalax, they appeared to be taking large war beasts with them to enforce their ranks. Where ever Wén looked evil was present. "You quest will be hard." Said Orbwork looking into Wéns panicking eyes. "You will have great consequences either way you go. But now I must leave you to your fate." The dream faded and the birds sang their morning song and the whole army was ordered to arms. They marched day and night never resting.
