But ベーコン is just literally bacon (beikon). Unlike wasabi. Wasabi is the proper word in English to say wasabi in Japanese. Get it? In Chinese, there are no alphabets or special pronunciation signs or whatever it's called so you just either use English or Chinese Characters with similar pronunciation. Or just literally explain what it means. Like wushu to martial arts. Taiwan has its own special pronunciation system and it's different from the PRC one. Both of them are not used in forms of writings.
