"Voting - Determining what is liked and what's not."
That is my defenition of voting. Now let's see how Contests puts this.
"Voting - Determining what is liked and what is not, while having points to make liked possibilities go higher."
That doesn't seem to bad, does it? But it is. Ever watched the science channel? They teach mice not to do things, basically, make them learn. They do this by giving them something bad when not doing what scientists want, and something good when they do something scientists DO want. Humans are like this too. Taking away Voting Accuracy is somethign we don't like. Adding it is something we do like. So we vote for the places that give us accuracy, not the places that we like. You see the problem now. Big problem now, right?
Accurate means to be correct, or exact. Voting cannot be correct. Voting Accuracy is saying Voting Correctness. Voting, is, Determining what is liked and what is not. Opinions cannot be correct. So, you might of guessed already, my suggestion is to remove Voting Accuracy. It would make the people who worked hard on their place to be rewarded, instead of getting nothing. Simple as that. Remove Voting Accuracy and this will be fixed, contests will be more fun.
Thanks for reading this over-ten-line post. Choose what you think is right. If you don't understand, read again, slowly. |

Do people just not want to read it? Because short ideas don't provide much information. Most of my ideas aren't really disapproved, but aren't posted on. |

I agree, I wasnt able to vote in the last contest because of all the freemodel places. For example: There was to places One was a baseplate the other was A very good game. I obviously click the good one but i get -5?! I was like HOW!? |

61 views, 5 posts not made by me. Are so many people too lazy to read? |

Amazing idea. But you got one thing wrong. People dont like accuracy, people like prizes. So we just say, vote for 50 places, and you get a prize, so people will still vote, but they will vote fairly. :-D |

And that does what? make them vote every place 1 star because it gives them a hat? |

It's not that this idea is not supported, it's that people are too lazy too read it, so it doesn't get posted on and falls. |

Yay. No more posts. |

if its between a free modled place and a small normal place you would have voting accuracy taken away for voting for the normal place |
|
|
Support, but sadly, the admins wont change the voting system.
They're too lazy to. |
