Verran: I took it and worked urgently on Midnight. "You let her get hurt? How careless ARE you people?" I hissed angrily as I wrapped bandages around her wound and jerked the knife out, quickly inserting a needle to give her a shot that would stop the bleeding. She jerked slightly then stilled as I wrapped the bandages around her. "She needs a hospital, that is, IF she wants to live. It's completely your descision." I said wiping my bloody hands on my black pants and stood up facing Star. |

Verran: I nodded and hurried outside. I lay her in the back of my black mustang and opened the driver's door. "Get in." I said opening the other door from the inside and starting it up. |

Verran: I gunned the engine and the car lurched forward. "Twenty minutes till the nearest hospital. Make sure she doesn't die while I'm driving." I commanded revving the engine to 300mph. "Please." I added and kept thinking of what to do. This was no ordinary car, the grenade launchers and machine guns could get through lots of stuff, but I didn't need to force my way in. |

Verran: "How did you guys... girls, sorry, get stuck in all of this? Why do people hunt you other than sport and to satisfy their sick desire?" I asked flooring it and I heard a faint boom through the soundproof windows as the car broke the sound barrier. I switched lanes constantly and my hands slipped from sweat, but I blew cars out of the way when that happened. Sweet normal life huh? |

Verran: "Sucks huh? I'll help you get it back." I said and got around to the back of the car after stopping in front of the hospital. I took Midnight out and opened the passenger door. "Can you get everything ready for me?" I asked kneeling down beside Midnight to make sure she was alright. |
