In my opinion, I love the 1940-50 era of music, such great songs. So which era of music do you like? The 2010 era? 1960's?

1990s. Alternative, grunge, thrash, good rap...I wish I was born a bit earlier so I could hear all that on the radio.

I don't have one. I like songs from all eras. In my opinion having a "favorite" era equals recurring to nostalgia or ignorance of past musicians, depending on your choice.

I forgot to mention the classical stuff, like Tielman Susato. (16th century music)

Mostly 70s and 90s. No one says "era" in the 70s, ya know. "I forgot to mention the classical stuff, like Tielman Susato. (16th century music)" You listen to classical music too? Do you like Mahler? He's my favorite composer. How about minimalist stuff? Sure, a lot of people think it's the same note over and over again, but I like it for reasons I'm not quite sure of.
