I was making my place and i made new script and fix lots of stuff then BOOM!!! The "(Not Responding)" sign shows up on the window bar and everything turns white (LOL Windows Vista)!
This is my idea:
You know on some games (or only OpenOffice Writer, Adobe Audition and programs like that) when you close and open it again a window shows up saying "The program crashed want to continue your work?" or something like that and u can click yes or no. They should make that on Roblox. I've been waiting for my place to rerespond right now (I've been waiting for 1 hour) and it's not bak yet and i don't want to start all over again so plz roblox MAKE MY IDEA!!! This would be SO SO so helpful for me and maybe helpful for other people!

you are never going to get your place back. you should have saved it every five minutes. its not our fault you werent prepared. just exit the place and build from an earlier version.

it's not that hard to make it either
all the program has to do is auto-save every 5 minutes or so or when the program is idle (into a highly compressed file) in some roblox directory, then to recover, just uncompress the recovery file and wallah, you have recovered your place. |

??? i never said anything about how long it take for a script to cause a not responding error message. i meant that if you get the not responding error message you will never have it start working again unless you exit the place |

@stinger @dqbert1 Yah like for example. If i made something like... a script that cleans the hats and tools laying around and it didn't auto-save yet and BOOM not responding and crashes. That 5 min auto-save wouldn't be useful |

WHENEVER YOU DO SOMTHING IMPORTANT ON YOU PLACE SAVE IT**** I know because I have had problems like this before, after spending HOURS on a huge CFrame bridge (When I was a noob way back when) I diddent save and lost ALL my work, always if yo uuse a free modle thats a mesh or unknown texture MAKE SURE to save your game before putting it other wise your game will get extreamly laggy or it will say Not Responding. Hope this helped. |
