Back in 1878, there was an Orphanage built in the middle of the woods, it was The Seymour Orphanage.
The Seymour Orphanage was built to home the "naturally indifferent" but most people knew it was to home people who had special abilities. These special abilities go from Telekenisis to Shapeshifting. Most of the Orphans there are unable to control their powers, but some people can.
There is a person by the name of Vash Elago, he hates the Orphanage and wants to escape. And you're going with him.
In the fight between peer-pressure and survival, you must make a hard choice. Will you leave the Orphanage forever, or stay until the day you die?
~Rules~
You cannot have multiple powers. AKA: No "Elemental"
Romance allowed, up to PG-13 though. Any higher will grant you a special edition "Banned from Seymour" pass.

Name: Evelyn 'Eva' Rose

Gender: Female
Appearance: Curly and wavy ash-blonde hair with layers and a silky texture that reaches her shoulder blades, cut in a Cleopatra type cut but with side bangs that reach down and curl around her face, one of them covering part of her left eye. She has big and beautiful light brown eyes the color of dry dirt, with thick darker brown rings around the rim and the pupil and long, dark eyelashes that give a mystical look to them. She has a thin nose and full well defined lips that is a natural pinkish red color, and cheeks that have a natural blush. She has groups of freckles on her cheeks and the bridge area of the nose, and a couple on her arms. She is slim and slightly curvy, being tall [5'4"] and she tends to be light on her feet [99.5 LBS]. She is an well-rounded beauty. She wears a black t-shirt that reaches to mid-thigh with a logo across the chest that says 'Maine', signifying her home-state. She wears dark blue jean shorts that reach just below the knee, with black and white converse w/ short socks. She has golden bracelets [1 on right wrist, 2 on left wrist] and a golden locket shaped like a star with a clock on the inside and her initials above the clock.
Ability: Pyrokenisis
Bio: She was given up by her parents as soon as they found out she had a gift with fire, and shes pretty much grew up here. She became well known for her talent, and known as the quiet one that always stay out of trouble. She does have a social side, but she hasn't really made any 'true' friends yet. She knows that she had three brothers and four sisters back in her biological family, but she doesn't know who her parents were, or even if there were two or not. The rest I guess will be left to be writen. |

I stood in my room area, zoned out from the rest of the world as my light was out and I tried lighting a candle with my mind. I have tried this many times, and though my power was great, I was unable to start things yet mentally. I finally gave up with a sigh, shaking my head quickly and gently to gain my full vision that had hazed, and I walk out, closing the door behind me. |

Appearance: Brown piercing eyes, light brown hair that juts out in all directions and cannot be tamed. Tall, about 6'2, thin, but not skin and bones.

Bio: just... dark. he's not going to talk about his past, and sticks to the outside of the big picture. (most of the time.) basically, his parents were disgusted with the chance of being pushed around mentally/having a child that could generate killer sharp objects at will.

Vash eventually found his way into the main hall, on his way to get breakfast, he spotted his older sister, Alyx, sneaking out some food.
Vash: And what are you doing?
Alyx: I stole some food from breakfast so we can have some snacks later.
Vash: We better not get caught. I remember the last time we did...
Alyx: I found a new hiding place, dont worry.
Vash then continued on to breakfast as Alyx hid the food she stole. |
