Civilization of countless races has spread across the galaxy. Not infrequently they end up at war. Will you lead your people to greatness or will they fall to beneath the rest?
For those of you who might not now, etc. means other
Rules:
No you do not have infinite resources
You are not invincible
No dark matter bombs. They don't actually do anything.
No planet destroying super weapons (you can nuke the planet repeatedly until no life is sustainable but nothing like the death star)
If your species has more than extremely basic biological weaponry they WILL be lower tech.
No telepathy or psychic abilities of any kind.
There is no such thing as a gun that shoots gravity.
You're stuck in them milky way galaxy
Your race cannot be robots
Any and all EMPs are the real world kind. When you use an EMP everything effected by it is broken permanently.

I control Earth in the beginning
advice:
Don't waste all of your resources on weapons.
Be an advanced tech race.
Control several planets
Don't put all of your eggs in one basket

I will determine random event that will happen to each civilization as the thread goes on. Every 1-4 pages (depending on the role of a dice) one will happen (random events happen to everyone at the same time.)
If people start acting as though they have infinite resources I WILL institute an RU system for them. If it is widespread then everyone will have an RU system.

Name: Ep'I
Appearance: The Ep'I are bipedal creatures, about up to a Human's waist in length. They have a prehensile, barbed tail. They have a squid-style face, including a beak. Rather than suction cups, their four tentacles are covered by extremely sharp spikes.
Their bodies are covered by a rough red carapace, with many dull ridges. Their feet are nimble and double jointed. They have four thin grabber arms around their mouth, with 7 delicate fingers on each.
Biological weapons: Tentacles, hands.
Diet: Omnivore.
Temperament: Aggressive.
Civilization sheet:

species: Ep'I

Population: 5,000,000.
Military/weapons: Many, many warriors.
Architecture: Organic, no real order.
Extra: They function in perfectly orderly chaos (their hierarchy APPEARS to be anarchy, however in reality they're being perfectly orderly. They're just so orderly they don't bother trying to show it, running wildly yet knowing exactly where they're going.)

Other details: They will sometimes throw logic to the wind and simply devour their enemies.
Unit name: Ravager
Class: Fighter
weapons: Many hull-ripper spikes.
Armor/shields: Anti-light weaponry carapace.
Other details: They have a Manta Ray style build, but they are covered by a hard and spiked carapace. They have four tendrils following behind them by about two times their length. They move using simple telekinetic pushes.
Unit name: Detector
Class: Infantry (kind of)
weapons: None.
Armor/shields: A soft carapace.
Other details: The Detector appears as a fleshy blob, contained in a light carapace. It goes along on many small, rapid legs, which drag it across the ground. It has extremely powerful sight, smell, hearing, and 'feel'. It can feel even the lightest vibrations from miles away.
Unit name: Burner
Class: Armored 'Vehicle'.
weapons: A biological plasma cannon.
Armor/shields: Medium strength carapace, greater than a Warrior's but not as good as a Ravager's.
Other details: The Burner has a soft red shading. It's lower area is massive and beetle-like, while it's backside is a massive bulb. The bulb can fire massive plasma blobs at a slow rate, for use as mortar/artillery fire and AA fire.
Unit name: Kraken
Class: Spaceship Carrier
weapons: Tendrils, hull-rippers, contained swarm of 6 Ravagers.
Armor/shields: Hard carapace.
Other details: The Kraken is of similar build to a Ravager. However, it is larger. Also, it's lower midsection is a large bulb, used for containing the various items of the ship. The ship is about the size of a modern-day US carrier ship. It has an internal FTL drive, made of organic fusion.
Unit name: Bulb- Shock Trooper/ Sui/cide Bomber (pun not intended).
Class: Infantry
weapons: EMP explosion, stingers.
Armor/shields: None.
Other details: The Bulb appears very similar to a Portugese Man O' War. However, it has the same rust red coloring of the other Ep'I. It floats along, propels itself, and fights using a psychic field and electric power.
Unit name: Wyrm
Class: Sui/cide bomber fighter.
weapons: It's own explosion, small hull rippers, very powerful beak for latching on.
Armor/shields: Almost none.
Other details: The Wyrms appear similar to Ravagers. However, they are much smaller and faster. It glows a deep blue. It's EMP explosion is deceptively large.
Unit name: Leviathan
Class: Capital Ship
weapons: Beak, tendrils, hull rippers, fleet of 10 Ravagers, internal unit producer, superheated plasma firers.
Unit name: Assault Brute
Class: Heavy Infantry
weapons: Large club arms, chest full of tentacles, beak.
Armor/shields: Heavy carapace.
Other details: The Assault Brute stands like a Gorilla. However, it is nearly 3 times larger than a Human. It carries the same color scheme as any other Ep'I. It's arms are simply clubs completely coated in armor puncturing spikes. It's head is rectangular, with a mane of tendrils.
It has many, many glowing orange eyes, and around 8 extremely long and spiked tentacles protruding from it's chest. It's mouth is a five-part beak, with the fifth part being the bottom part. The fifth part is also the largest.
Unit name: Ranged Warrior/ Archer
Class: Infantry
weapons: armor-piercing spike launcher, beak, tendrils, graspers.
Armor/shields: Light carapace.
Other details: The Archer stands like a Warrior, with the same type of color scheme and basic build. However, in the place of a mouth it has a tri-barreled spike launcher, which is capable of launching with the speed of a modern-day bullet. |
