1: Everybody decides to be sneaky dagger stealth guy. No warriors with big axes and swords that want to charge in and be a hero. Such a shame.
2: Everybody puts 'Mysterious past, I was rich,' and they are suddenly expert combat fighting ninja's with magical weapons that kill people with just a small touch. I've seen RPA.ges of 3 and they have expert combat skills.

I never to any of those two things, So, I'm good. I've got a good set of Role-Plays going right now, So I'm set till those fizzle up and die out. Like.. Fireworks.

Anyway, in RPs I'm usually either a Seductive Succubus, a Powerful and Feared Incubi Lord, a man just out of High-School struggling to cleanse the world of Corruption, a Skilled, but retired, Spetsnaz Operative, or a Persuasive and Intelligent First Advisor. |

With 1., it's because the stealthy ones generally live longer. |

I like dying in a blaze of glory, saving the other roleplayers. I have noticed it seems not many others do, however. |

Those are the problems with Newbie rolplays or just Noob roleplays. The good ones don't even HAVE those options.
But, most people do SUCK at roleplaying these days.

Heres what happens alot in Mediocre roleplays: People with amazing skills and stuff are like 10 or 15. |

I wrote my last RP 5 months ago.
Dont know where it went, it took me 35 minutes to write, and it had 3 posts.
Post One was me Bumping it.
Post Two was somebody saying 'Yeah, I'll join' before they went offline without doing anything,
Post Three was me saying that nobody likes these kinds of threads anymore.
It was a long Medeival Roleplay, with story, list of every weapon, every race, every armour, every type of magic, every city, every job, every guild, every sea, every continent in that world, etc.
I got around 12 people saying 'Yeah, Ill join it after you make it'
Nobody actually joined.

I advise doing a pencil and paper roleplaying game, like D&D. No stupid newbies, and more defined rules. Thanks to a Dungeon Master, no godmodding. |

About the stealth type thing, I find a lot of people favor one type if character in all rp's they do. I always play a sort of minstrel. Maybe stealth type is just one a lot of people come up with? And I can't blame them for not wanting to play the hero. It's the dullest sort of character. |

I made an army RP, both sides were supposed to be full of mages, warriors, and atleast 2 rogues.
I was the only warrior.
Both teams, everyone was a rogue so it was, Basically:
'I backstab you'
'I feign my death and backstab you'
'I feigned MY death and backstab YOU'
'You cant kill without asking someone'
'SMDoom has left the thread for 5 minutes, Ill be admin, k?
'Your all kicked out, banned from the thread'
I come back
'Everyone wasnt playing right so I kicked them' |
