how many of you want more realistic looking water on roblox, water that moves, and no more of those blue cancolide = false bricks with transparency .3 |

LIKE ON THE OTHER FORUMS
NO IT WOULD BE 2 HARD FOR A ROBLOX SERVER 2 HANDLE
i mean they are now experimenting with water on computers and its very hard to make a flowing piece of water it needs an immense computer calculation program to calculate how it will go
2 its already hard for roblox to simulate tsumnamis with 50 big bricks water needs like 500 small bricks that interact with eachother to function |

@Trappingnoobs, your the blind one with that squid stuck on your head. |
|

Yer roblox is working on it :/ |
|
|
Some one told me it was coming out in spring or summer, 2011. |

if there working on water, they probably should add a streangth mode to make jiant jello and realistic trampoline,rope, and all other crazy stuff!
but still difficult and laggy. |
|
|
|
The only kind of water we have is a blue brick with the Ice texture on it... |

No. What we have now isn't laggy. And realistic moving water WILL crash computers. And it's also, if not impossible, near impossible to make. NO game was realistic moving water. Just a replaying animation. |

ROBLOcasino, you do not stand corrected, people made decal changing, spashing, and floating water, but you still would need to put walls for realisticness |

"And realistic moving water WILL crash computers." Erm. You'd have to have one ~really~ ancient computer to be crashing on a simple water effect. It's just a couple shaders, one for ripples, one for reflections. |

@Axel
I'm talking about moving, flowing, expanding realistic water. Computers can't support that. And in the games that have "Realistic water", it's just an animation, mostly. |

Oh, ok, well THAT might be a bit much. XD Unless the water's made up of heavily post-processed particles, such as in one of Nvidia's tech demos, it would just take far too much processing power, and even then it's likely that 95% of the people on here couldn't even handle ~that~. |

@Axel
Might, or might not. |
