I got this inspiration from Facebook and I've made it into a different thing so it doesn't violate any trademarks at all.
Anyway, I think there should be a new feature called ''Tapping''. Tapping means when you're on somebody's profile, there's a little box saying ''Tap this avatar!'' and if you click it it sends a notification to someone, saying, ''ExamplePerson Tapped you!'' and then you can type in their name on the search bar!
So, what I'm saying is, Tapping is for people who think they know that person and want to say ''Hi'' without sending a message!
And, to prevent mass Tapping spamming, you can only do 10 taps a day.
Also, you can select if only your best friends, friends, (how about friends of friends?), or anyone, or no-one, cna tap you on the Account page.
