The Velkar; legendary and un-ag.ing beings that use to be the most powerful beings on Earth. Velkar are angels, not just any angels, they were elemental controlers. There were 7 different groups of Velkar, each based on one of the 7 elements: Light, Darkness, Fire, Earth, Water, Weather, and Ice. Despite their differences, they lived in peace...for awhile. Eventually, their differences began to take hold and war started. Thousands died, and their beautiful land was destroyed, but neither of the 7 sides won. For the humans took advantage of this and destroyed that last remaining Velkar. Or at least what they thought to be the last.
3,000 years later, the Velkar are nothing but a myth to the humans. But there are still a few left, but scattered, hiding their true forms and struggling to survive and remain hiden at the same time. There are many stories among the scattered Velkar of how their race came to be almost extinct, though only few know what really happend.... |

Personality: Friendly, nice, smart, a little bit shy, but very strong-willed and willing to kill to keep her race's existance a secret. She is one of the few that know the true history of the Velkar.
Appearance: Lightly-tanned skin. Strait, waist-length golden-blond hair that she keeps loose. And very bright eyes that look like glowing peridots, which is how she got her name. Her wings are 14-feet long, and pure white. She wears a black tank-top and a green jacket to cover her wings, and torn-up jeans and white sneakers.

Bio: Though she wasn't there when the war started, she remembers very well being told the whole tale. She also remembers constantly hiding and watching her friends and family die. Despite this, she does not hate the humans. Luckily for her, she owns her own little house and a car. And she goes to a nearby collage. She also has a job as a fire-dancer at a big expensive hotel, and shes good at it. She knows that there are more of her race out there, and hopes to find some of them one day.
Other: She is very good at controlling her powers, and is very skilled with her twin katanas, Twee and Dee. She is also good at keeping her identity a secret, and hiding from the FBI, who suspect her races existance and are always looking for them. |
