TF2 is a rip off of CoD because it's about two opposing forces fighting over terrority in many different styles with a variety of weapons |

Okay, so you are trying to say if someone created a game that took place in the future but someone took the characters and storyline of that game but made them slightly different and made the game take place in the past it isn't a rip off. |

it's not a rip off because it's two different things, but have similar elements
GTAIV is about a war torn man who comes to liberty city with a cousin that has a gambling addicition, and often gets him into trouble, which niko has to solve
Mafia II is about THE MAFIA
aka: a very organized street gang
the main character is working for the mafia, he's not dragged into it |
