Slash slash lunge just isn't enough it kind of just limits what you can do make the lunge more of a thrust and the slashes go side to side and diagonal. With better animation you can make things like lances or fist fight moves. You could also make gear smaller like make daggers so that they're backhand and you can make it look like your stabbing. You could also make packeges with walking styles or tricks.
