Good idea, but there's a GREAT reason why it hasn't been implemented:
Anyone capable of implementing an idea on making scripting easier is unlikely to know why it's hard to program, and anyone who knows why it's hard to program doesn't have the experience to describe it in adequate detail. It requires experience, and the lack of experience in the same field.
Tell me, how could one make it easier to script? |

SUPPORT i have played roblox for like 3 years now and still cant scripts only edit and it would b nice if I COULD DO AWESOME STUFF. LIKE MAKE MY PLACE MORE ORIGINAL... this supports using less free models and bandito i can build awesomely im more creative minded not logically so i dont no that scripting stuff and who needs to if this is here unless you need to do some thing more complicated just like simple stuff like disipear when stepped on that type stuff

LUA is the one of the EASIEST programming languages known to geeks(computer professionals). It combines the English Language(which is the language that most if not all ROBLOXians use) with code. If you still can't get it even after reading the wiki, just give up. |

You have to write out almost every single thing you want it to do. Ex.

You don't have any desire to learn. At all. Lua is one of the most easiest scripting language. EVAR.
If you don't get it, well, just proves you're terrible at learning.
If you want to script, don't whine about it; LEARN IT. |

You think RBX-Lua is hard? Try learning the actual language. It's a lot more harder. First of all the graphics and objects are already placed saving you a lot of work, the window is already sized and all that stuff.
Now, go learn the language, and remember you could learn harder languages like Java.

ROBLOX is built on Lua. I don't think it would be possible to integrate other scripting languages, let alone programming languages. |
