Hey everyone! This is a little idea for a roleplay that I got after hearing about an "underwater hotel". I thought it would be a unique idea for a thread. So, here it is:
There is this new hotel resort that had just been built. It was named Neptune's Oasis.
Most of it is located on an island, but there are also rooms you can stay in underwater. One of your relatives had brought it up at your family reuinion a couple weeks ago, and they mentioned who the founders were. Zoey and Terrence McMann. You suddenly became excited because you knew them! A week after the reunion, you get a phone call and/or an email from Zoey, inviting you and your family and friends to stay at the hotel for free. You begin rounding up your desired friends and family members, and telling them the good news. A week after that, everyone is all packed, and on the plane to the island. You can't wait to get there.
Rules!!:
-Moderate romance
-No controling other's characters (Unless you have permission)
-No killing other characters
-No flaming/godmodding/spamming/ubering
-If your going to swear, block it (I'd rather you not swear).
-No vampires or magic or anything mythical (This isn't mythical, it has a bit of truth to it, as it is possible to make an underwater hotel)
-I have to accept you!
-You can rent up to 3 rooms if you staying underwater, and up to 6 if your staying on the island

Okay, here's my character:

Appearance: Straight jet black hair, side parted bangs, emerald eyes, fair skin, slender, 5'3", 94 lbs, rosy cheeks, rounded head, dark eyebrows, long eyelashes, full red lips, unnoticeable freckles, medium sized mouth, ski slope nose, long, curvy torso.
Clothes: A light green cami, beige shorts, forest green sandals, black headband that camouflages into hair.
Inventory: I usually have strawberry chapstick in my pocket, and sometimes spare change.
How do you know the founders?: Zoey and Terrence are my aunt and uncle!

What is your room number(s)?: 12 and 13 (Room number 12 is a suite)
Why did you accept Zoey's offer into coming here?: I thought it sounded interesting, and I wanted to visit them!

I sit on my seat in the plane, right next to my sister, Raina. She's already bobbing her head to the music coming from her IPod. I have a seat next to the window, with my mom on the left side of Raina, who's in the middle. Behind me are 3 out of 5 of my best friends, Matt, Lucas, and Katey. My 2 other friends are going to be joining us later, along with my dad. My 2 other friends are Laura and Ariel, who sadly had to take a later flight. After flying, we will have to take a boat to the island. I feel like I'm so lucky that I don't get nauseous from the rocking back and forth. I whip out a magazine from my backpack, then start reading. |

(i would prefer to be able to choose what the uniform looks like, so its not just some annoyamous Thing that everyone has a diffrent view on the looks with.) |

(Everyone can decide what their uniform looks like, but it has to include a shade of blue. So, feel free to describe your uniform in the appearence. You can wear whatever uniform you want, unless specific orders were given from the manager or founders to wear the formal uniform, which I haven't come up with what it looks like) |

I look behind me, and Lucas is grinning excitedly, Katey has an uneasy look on her face, because she fears the plane would crash, and Matt is hiding his excitement with a non-emotion expression on his face. Lucas gives me the thumbs-up, then I turn back around.

I can't stop smiling. I'm so psyched! Katey seems to be having a little "panic attack", because she's rocking back and forth with an nervous expression. |

I have no idea what I'm going to do on this plane. I can't skateboard, or play video games that aren't portable. Or I can't play sports, like my favourites, soccer, volleyball, football, basketball, badminton, AND hockey. I realize how bored I will be on this plane. But at least I have my friends to make up these pointless, yet fun, games. Too bad Katey is too nervous, and Matt is now captivated in one of his Simpson comic books. And I bet Zorianna, I call her Zori, is busy, too. |

I bite my thumbnails nervously, then wrap my arms around my knees, which I tucked up on the seat. We were going to be lifting off in a little bit, so I had my seatbelt on tightly.

I'm trying to hide my emotions and remain emotion-less. I don't know why I usually do this, It's just a weird habit. |

*HOURS PASS*
We finally arrive at the island, and I'm excited. Lucas gives me a thumbs up, Katey has a smile on her face, and even Matt has a slight grin. We quickly check in, then take the elevator to the underwater portion of the resort. The elevator moves speedily downwards, then when the doors open, we walk out.
"Whoa!" I say, glancing around at the transparent windows, revealing tons of tropical marine animals.
Bright-coloured schools of fish give off the illusion that the water is a neon shade of orange and green. I realize that this was the lobby for the underwater portion. |

The AC and heating was running smoothly, along with all the other machines in here. |

I run my fingers through my shaggy brown hair, attempting to move my overgrown bangs out of my eyes. We walk down the hall to our room. Number 11. Zori tossed me the room key, then I slid it through the key slot on the door; just under the door handle. A green light blinked on, then we heard a clicking sound. I opened the door, then held it open for Zori and Katey, oh and Matt, too. I closed the door firmly behind me, then let my eyes adjust to the spacious suite. There were exactly 6 beds, the bedspread a deep shade of ocean blue. There were light blue waves embroidered on the pillows. There were three visible walls, all the deep shade of ocean blue/aqua. The forth one was a clear transparant window, just like the one in the lobby, also revealing brightly coloured tropical fish. Beside each bed was an oak nightstand, with a seafoam green lamp. I glance around the room, and find a door. I opened it carefully, then walked inside. Behind that door was a fairly large bathroom. The shower had curtains also the shade of seafoam green, and one of the walls was a window. On a granite countertop were two sinks and a ceramic plate with signiture hotel toilettries professionally arranged. The other walls were the same as the ones in the room.
I look down at the floor. There was an interesting tile pattern, with tints of blue and green. I walk back to the door, and enter the room again. Zori is sprawled across a bed beside the window, tapping away at her laptop. Katey is on another bed, quickly texting on her new cell phone; probably checking in with Ariel and Laura. They had to come on another plane at a later time. Matt is balancing a sketch pad on his lap, drawing something with a serious look on his face. I flop down on the bed across from the flat screen tv, then snatch the remote. |
