In 1929 the stock market crashed, the affects were felt around the world, here was no exception.
In 1930, exactly one year after the crash, to the day, in fact, a change was made. Retirement ages were set to 70, five years more than before, but this change was not the first step to the tensions that we have now, we had to deal with that.
But then the tax was increased, the numbers of police officers and fire fighters were cut down and their pay decreased… It didn’t end there.
April 2nd, 1931.
Now with civil servants steaming mad they decide to play with the fire some more when they realized that their plans were not working to its full extent.
Tax increased, civil servant salaries cut down and more income tax, things were not looking good by now.
The salaries for school teachers cut to an unacceptable rate. We decided to show how we felt about the new changes. We didn’t go to work for a week and protests were held near the town center.
They ignored us, and cut our pay even more. Maintenance funds for government buildings such as court houses, public schools, and post offices are decreased by 60% just to save money.
December 29th, 1932.
The popularity for Brian Deere has fallen by 57%, the only people getting any type of break are the wealthy, I have heard from some locals in our town that if things get any worse AT ALL that they might show Brain how they feel about his dictions.
March 14th, 1933.
I’m sick of it. Everyone I know is sick of it. And right now, I think everyone is tired of this abuse, and how does the government get away with this?! We have set up protests, small riots, even OTHER NATIONS are talking about it.
We are in a time of need, we can BARELY pay the bills, and now the taxes are increased by another 4.9%, and they passed a new bill about a new government run public health system, the government that can’t even match its own standards is now running the hospitals, half of the staff at one of the city’s largest hospitals are now fired, and they are being overrun with patients.
March 20th, 1933.
It’s set, we’re shoving Brian out of power, we are taking this stupid, insensitive, out of control government out, and in with the new.

Ammo Types-
Standard - Basic ammo.
Hollow-Point - Designed to shred un-armored targets. Can hardly penetrate anything thicker than an half an inch.
Armor-Piercing - Designed to punch through hard armor and thick obstacles. Somewhat in-effective against un-armored targets.
Hand-load - More powerful version of Standard, with better penetrative properties. Can only be produced by Refugee Camps.
Camp Types-
Guard-post - Basic camp.
Armory - Usually a factory re-purposed to produce ammunition and basic weaponry.
Watch-post - Usually situated on high buildings, watches for enemy movements.
Supply Depot - Government only. A special factory designed to produce rare weaponry. Churns out Government weapons. When captured by Civilians, is re-purposed into a Refugee Camp. Awards several crates of Government weaponry when taken.
Refugee Camp - Civilian only. People left homeless by the rebellion and fighting on the streets. Good source of hand-load ammunition. When captured by Government, is re-purposed into a Supply Depot. Awards several crates of hand-load ammo when taken.
-RULES-
Put detail in your character, not just a few basics. Civilians do not have uniforms but the army does, it looks similar to the British uniforms in WWI.
Do not change the story like this:”Then airplanes move in and shoot everyone up, the attack is a failure.” Leave THAT to the thread creators: Mewzakura, NotOurFinestMoment, 9845, Househead07, Kopaka, and Canadianfro.
All major attacks will be controlled by us. (Look at previous rule.)
You can break the law if you are in the rebellion.
9845 will make a few maps along the way to give you a nice idea of the background.
No not get one hit kills, you can say you shot your weapon at another Role-player, but if the victim keeps saying you missed (More than once.) you have the OK to shoot him, but still, no one hit kills.
If you are wondering if the countries allies will move in that remains a mystery.
Medical supplies on both sides are not good at all, for one thing it is 1933.
Civilians are basically ten years behind the military, but they have great numbers, slightly more than the army, so this is not very uneven.
If you are in the army you can only go up to warrant officer, to make things easy for the people role-playing as a civilian, I’ll make it simple: You start as a private.
The generals might end up fighting on the front line a few times from the enemy making an unexpected move and sneak up on them, but don’t get me wrong, they will be able to get out of the area quite fast, but not in two seconds.
Know your history, they didn't have mini-guns in the 1930's.

Don't expect the battle map to be there all of the time, it takes time to make them!
The army and the government have the guns you would expect, but civilians are limited to what you would find in a local weapons shop, or weapons they’ve made at home, mostly shotguns.
The nation is extremely poor and there are very few tanks in operation, they might be used for defense and not offense.
If you break the rules, then veteran teams of mercenary snipers will be sent to eliminate you when you least expect it. They cannot be defeated, and will not miss.
