I agree to this decision, but I can't help but comment that pretty much 99% of users will be angry about it. Custom meshes are a natural part of games and some pervert going and uploading inappropriate meshes not only ruins it for himself and those users, but also hurts Roblox's business. The anger of those users may or may not lead to decisions to cancel their memberships AND quit roblox. Personally I feel it's the user's duty to report other users for inserting or uploading inappropriate meshes and decals into their games and then let Roblox suspend or ban THAT user's account. In a way we're ALL getting punished for the acts of a few users. I must admit even I'm a little irritated because I finally found out how to make custom meshes and upload them, and had a plan to create over 500 swords and axes for a war game. There goes that plan. On a final note before I go back to building my epic games, the prohibition of custom meshes also makes games laggier because users will now have to either switch to roblox meshes or CFrame their own things. I hope you're all enjoying roblox, have a wonderful day.

Well, though that is a VERY good idea, to approve something that has been uploaded through the website it needs a thumbnail and an image. A mesh cannot be seen unless it has been inserted into a brick. Even then, that mesh has to be inserted by someone in order to be seen. Although your question gives me an idea. While it may not be easy to program, a webpage "brick" can be created so that a mesh's ID can be inserted for a preview of what the mesh will look like. There the admins and moderators can approve or reject them. A scale option can be added into the browser that equally scales the X, Y, and Z vectors so that it cannot be scaled to hide what it is. This can be a way to upload meshes. Of course even if by the 1.5% chance that this kind of option was put into play, there's still the issue of what KIND of mesh files would be supported. Obviously .mesh, but there are other types of mesh files such as .o3d and .obj These will pose many problems for developers and could in fact hurt the website. However, for your information, some custom meshes were not deleted, such as the tornado.

Admins just HAD to remove them. All because they are too lazy to get rid of only the inapropriate ones. It's annoying as heck.

@Xiao The tornado is a ROBLOX mesh.

Then you and I are talking about two completely different tornadoes. A roblox mesh is a mesh who's ID contains a web address and an asset ID number. A user mesh's ID contains nothing but a random assortment of letters and numbers.

:< They are too cheap to aprove meshes, cause that would require either more time on the current Roblox team, or more people to do just that job... and Roblox doesn't want to spend money...
