Why won't my cars turn left or right?

Somtimes when I build my cars they will not turn left or right and It's making me really angry! I'm glad my F-1 car works atleast, but I just attempted to construct a SWAT truck and it looks pretty cool, so when I went to go for a test drive it wont turn left or right! When I press D it's supposed to turn right, but instead it accelerates backwards, when I press A its supposed to turn left, but then it accelerates fowards! This has happned to multiple cars that I have attempted to construct! (WHY) does this happen and (HOW) can i fix/prevent it from happening? Thank you so much --spartan1595

Perhaps messing with the torque?

No it's not the torque, I tryed setting the torque higher, lower, super high, super low, and everything. It doesn't effect the turning at all, It has nothing to do with my vehicle seat. i think.

Okay I found the problem. When you copy a vehicle seat it messes it up, so I put a pure, new vehicle seat into my swat truck and it works fine now.
