I don't care what has to be done. It's a fact.
Every time I go on the forums, there is at least 1 spam thread out there. Most of us don't have time or patience to deal with those who don't follow the rules, and grow less satisfied with every post that they continue with. EVEN AFTER WE REPORT THEM!
I JUST got finished with a spammer of this calibur myself! I am very displeased with it, as is everyone else.
I am not saying that we do not get results, as they do eventually get banned. After 1/2 hour of continuous reporting.
ROBLOX, hear me out, you need more forum moderation action. |

Its not that there not moderting its that its not consistant. Many places and people will get banned or deleted unessacarily. And yet other people never get banned when they deserve to! Also I once reported 20 spam comments and only 1 got deleted. I reported the other 19 again a day later and they didnt get deleted. oh well. |

@Rotototo: How do you mean, actually moderate? If you mean, you want them to be constantly patrolling all the forums looking for bad threads, they simply don't have time. They are handling all the reports!
The moderation doesn't have time to look at every thread on every forum. They only have time to look at threads that have been reported to them, of which there are a lot (mostly duplicate reports) which is why they can't patrol all the forums searching for inappropriate threads!
This is why it takes a long time, and reporting more than once just slows down the process! Just be patient. Sometimes it takes less. I reported a thread for deliberate trolling about a half an hour ago, and within 10 minutes it was CD'ed.
This shows how fast the moderators actually work at if you're not repeatedly reporting and reporting and reporting, which simply slows things down to a molasses-pace.
Just be patient. If your report IS ACTUALLY VALID, the moderators will get to it and take moderation action. If a thread is against the rules, simply report it once & walk away.

@madattak: If you reported something and it wasn't CD'ed and/or the creator wasn't punished, it is because your report was not valid and the moderators decided that it was not spam. |

Depends on how many moderators are online. Occasionally, reported things vanish withing a minute. |

I disagree that we need MORE moderators think about this:
Theres millions of users on ROBLOX and theres 1000s of them that break rules and then a report is sent in(Ussualy multiple reports which people arent supposed to do because it just slows down the process) and theres multiple false reports sent in, also theres maybe at most 100 moderators? They just need a faster way of dealing with this. |

You have no idea what a moderator goes through...
They work alot, dealing with reports and so on, they do NOT work 24/7 and they also need to eat lunch, have their coffee AND ALL THAT.
There are a LOT of them, but it isn't enough to remove all those "Spawnkilling" reports people SPAM TO THEM. And forum moderators cannot watch ALL threads at one time.
If you we're a moderator in Roblox, you have the worst job in the world. |

@frozengaia He is just saying alot of inapropriate things and spam can get through. So they need to pay more atention to the one or two things the filter doesn't notice. |

Here's a thought; maybe the moderators efficiency is down because they're dealing with pages and pages of false reports. What if the admins noted that a false report could get them in trouble, and perhaps punish a few false reporters just to make the point? |

But yeh as I mentioned earlyer its the inconistancy thats the problem. For example I once stumbled upon someone who got a 7 day ban for saying k 3 times. he probably ment ok ok ok. But it although stands for a violent racist group. HOW WAS HE MENT TO KNOW THAT!?!?!? ITS A KIDS GAME! I only know about from I book I bought, they never tought me about it in school and im 13! So how is he/she ment to know! |

actully AN00B is correct.
they get SO MANY REPORTS. they can't give it to a computer.
it only takes so long beause the admins litteraly get flooded with reports. i bet you could fill new york with the ammount of reports they have got and STILL have enough to fill hatfield, both towns. |
