Yes. We get it. They're going to allow people to make their places BC only.
Yes. We get it. You hate the new update, and one of your favorite games might become BC only.
Yes. We get it. You want ROBLOX to not do this.
Yes. We get it. You're complaining to the devteam about it here because you don't want it to happen.
HOWEVER, as CM said, the only places that are gonna be BC only are the BC hangout places. No game creator alive is going to be THAT hypocritical towards his/her NBC players and turn away free tickets just because he/she can (except maybe STHXX, but only OBC ODer buncaikishness peoples and newbiecakes visit his places).
And if a game creator does, the game creator is rubbish, probably as well as his game, so it's not worth your time to be playing that game. There are lots of good games out there. For those of you who enjoy strategy, there's Deception Infection by Stickmasterluke. For those of you who enjoy war games, there's Plane Wars 2 by mathchamp. For those of you that enjoy RPG's, there's The Tales of Range's Cape/The Lords of Range's Cape by RangeMeludE. For those of you who enjoy minigames, go to Havemeat's or miked's.
There's tons of games out there. Just because ONE of your favorite games is BC only doesn't mean ALL of them are. I've seen that with most people, you'll have dozens upon dozens upon dozens of favorited games, most of which you never play.
So if your most favorite game in the whole wide world of ROBLOX forever and ever and ever gets holed up to NBC members and you are NBC...
Ask the place creator to make it not BC only in a PM (Use proper grammar in the title & body of the message, famouses are finicky about that) or find another place. I'm sure you can with those tons of favorites.
And anyway, like CM said, probably only the BC hangout places/ODing places/stupid places that only rubbish go to are going to be BC only.
So really, it shouldn't be that big of a deal.
So shut up.

Install the aspxBB forum format. For those of you who have no idea what aspxBB is, it is a forum layout designed specially for websites in the .aspx format, which ROBLOX uses. With it, we can use:
- Smilies
- Codes ([img], [b], [i], [u] and so forth and so on ad nauseam ad infinitum; these would make our text do awesome things. b makes it bold, i makes it italic, u makes it underlined, img finds the image URL and puts it in the post (ONLY TAKES IMAGES THAT ARE IN THIS FORMAT: http://www.roblox.com/asset/id=idnumberhere.aspx SO AS NOT TO BE ABUSED)

@RevolutionGG: Does it really matter? Technically, it's not a misleading title, because there is stuff about shutting up about BC only places in the post, so you can't report it. What was I supposed to do for a suggestion related to my title? And if I made a title relevant to my suggestion, how would I get people to read about shutting up about BC only places?
Besides, I already have a suggestion going about redoing the forums, so I didn't want to make the title about that, because then people might think my thread had been deleted when it really wasn't, and when they saw it again they'd be all "OMGWTFBBQ?" and I'd have to explain and yada yada yada.
There's no good way to do this, but I figured this was the better way to go. |

ROBLOX is free in most places, so making this wouldn't make them have to change that statement.

I agree with your suggestion, and the BC only places shouldn't be made, and who would make their place BC only? Everyone needs cash if they don't want to be hated by a large amount of ROBLOXians. Well, that doesn't work for STHXX since he's hated for free models and having too much cash.

How is it an alright idea? So many people would stop playing because they can't afford BC and most of the places they want to play are BC only, which drops many of ROBLOX's chances of making money for them to run the site, which means L-A-G, which might make more people quit because they can't get into games, which will make ROBLOX shut down due to lack of money.

@Megaponder: READ. THE. OP. The only people who are going to make their place BC only are people making BC hangouts. No place creator in his/her right mind is going to turn away free money, after all! Scratch that; no ROBLOXian at all in his/her right mind is going to turn away free money!!! I'm sure your favorite places and your friendships with NBC members won't be affected by this.
@dawoofinater: I'm not saying "SHUT UP" to the ROBLOX development team. I'm saying "SHUT UP" to the general public, because I'm tired of the BC only places threads here on S&I!

It's true. If a user makes their place BC-only then they will lose free tix, and nobody wants that.
The only game I might miss is one of ROBLOX's games. He'll probably make some of his places BC-only. |
