There would be a purple (or any other random color) sphere floating in your game. You will be able to move it around. This would be the center of gravity. Everyone would be pulled twoards it. This would be a feature that would be optional.
Supports? |

I'd support if it was the real life concept, not an easily scriptable gravity orb thing. |

The orb thing I just cam up on the top of my head. It will be invisible ingame. And there will be a function that you can edit the radius of the center of gravity. |

That isn't what a Center of Gravity is though. |

Yeah I might be wrong on the title. It might be called something else. But the concept is the same. |

Add on: You can also edit how strong the gravity is. |

Errr I would bump if I understood it more. |

Ok. Your on Earth Right? (You should be.) Gravity keeps us down. But on Roblox, we have no center of gravity. See, when we fall off a baseplate, we just fall. If there was a center of gravity, you would be pulled twoards that position. You can edit how strong the gravity is, where the gravity is, how big the gravity field is, and what happens when you get to the center of gravity. (Last one Im not sure) |

This would be useful for space games. You could make a planet that you can walk completely around. How about-
Gravity can be added that would apply only to humanoids. You would have to be within 100 studs for the gravity to take effect (You can edit the strength and distance.) The humanoid will always have their feet face the object. |

^Exactly. |

It should be like super mario galaxy 1 and 2 it kills you when you get sucked in i would like to make a game like that but sadly i will have to c frame a lot which does not work anymore |

Center of Gravity would be the point on which a mass is balanced. I'm not sure if it's modeled that an area on a falling baseplate with more bricks than the other side falls faster or not which would be what the CoG really is. |

In the center of gravity idea, bricks would fall if not anchored or a button woulod be there as an option. Roblox isnt realistic in Gravity because when we fall, we just fall to knowwhere. A center of gravity( Black Hole, Magic, etc ) would pull it into that position. |

You know how much ROBLOX would change if this happened? For a start, The fact we are build of blocks would be ruined... |

How would this change that. It just lets you change gravity. |

So essentially, enabling gravity on a sphere would have users near or on the planet to be pulled towards it, and able to walk, land, and drive on it.
Black holes could also be made using this feature by simply inserting a kill on touch script, and modifying the gravity intensity.
Gravity should have editable intensity(strength) and the farthest distance that it could reach. Having decaying gravity (pull gets weaker farther from source) might be too laggy, but as Roblox is some type of Physics simulator, it should be there.
I like this. I support this.

Title fix. Could be cool, But its scriptable, And roblox wants to be the "Best physics based toy on teh internets"? This could help. Support. |

This is a great idea, especially for space games. |
|

@Self
Also, You could put more than one, But the fields have to be atleast 50 studs away from eachother. |

And gravity field range/gravity strength. |

This would be very hard to script. Walking on spheres from rightside up, to sideways, to upside down and everything inbetween!!?!? This would make it much easier to do so.
And gravity should also be affected by scripts (which is in effect right now) |
