Many people got it, and he was only 3 at the time it dropped. Many people survived Leukemia, while others died. Alex hopes to be the survivor.

~Alex~ I lay in my hospital bed, shaking and waiting for the nurse to come in. I look at the teddy I have had since I was 4. "Y-y-you are still in perfect condition, teddy." I say, smiling. I reach out to grab it and put it beside me. I hug it tight, and I lay sideways, waiting for someone to come.
