I'm sure a lot of you veterans are very interested in this topic.
Many people including me want to go back in time to see the places we first played when we joined in 2006-2008.
Here's the plan: The admins create a separate ROBLOX browser program (which is different to the one we use now) that brings us up with a menu with what years we want to play in.
Those who even joined later (e.g: 08 or 09) can access their account to visit the times of 07 or 06.
The browser layout would also be the same as it was on that year. (Like on 2007 where it shows a robloxian on crossroads with the ROBLOX logo next to him.)
Depending on the year and date, it shows those old places that old members made (e.g. an old brickbattle arena) It's kind of similar to the test server that shows your Robloxian and your status from a few months ago (example: May 2010)
Another good thing? When a special holiday event comes like Halloween, people can participate on those events from the previous years so if they missed 2008's Riddling skull or 2009's Halloween Paintball Trophey and Paintball Mask, that would be their chance to get them.
Probably when it's 2007 or 2006 mode, we don't get to wear shirts and pants unless we're in the mid 2008 section. (because the beginning of 08 didn't have shirts and pants)
Also, old hats would be on sale too like the Biggerhead, the Sparkle Time Fedora and Headstack hats.
This idea would be great for people who always wanted to play on the year they joined. Even good for those who want to experience the previous years they didn't get to enjoy.

I forgot to mention that also when in the old times, the graphics would be old too like the red sphere explosions, the bolder and more 3D-ish default smiley faces and the old round studs (it adds more classic feel to it) |

ROBLOX is Practically A copy of Backlot. Except ROBLOX use to not have Walking animations. Sprint and jump etc. But they are still similar. |

this idea is a no-no. it would cost alot of money, take lotsa time to make, and doubt the admins and developers will even consider this idea. |

Oh Yes, I would really like this, exept Onnnnnee thing, Instead of compleatly Un-updating to roblox platform, it would be good if they keep the preformance updates, so it will be like 09, but not as laggy =3.
But if you just want me to get to the point, I say:

Plus, No it would not be that hard, it is very likley they keep a record of the older versions of roblox, so they just have to upgrade it a little bit with the alredy made preformance upgrades, and Bam you have you old fasion roblox, with out all the lag. |

I guess you can only own the hats that were created in those times...
e.g: if you bought the classic fedora in 2009, you can wear it in 2007 mode. |

Sure it may cost a lot of money, why do you think all hat prices are high nowadays? Because the admins are (no offense to admin fans) G.R.E.E.D.Y.
They get so much money everyday so why not use some of it to bring back something that veterans loved?
Not to mention, they can STILL get money for selling the hats. |

I LIKE It, because i always wondered how old roblox was i know the 2009 but i want to know 2007 and stuff so it will let the newer veterans see how it was |
