Now, Roblox.Whats not to love about it, 'eh? Like all the people here I plan a goal for roblox, this goal is for roblox game designers. I would like for it to be possible for you to make newtons cradle in roblox( Using 0% scripts). It would take a LOAD of updates to achieve this however, This is a goal set for roblox. But the first step to do this is to have the abiltity to create artificial gravity, I call it , Artificial gravity! Now i know what your thinking " Theres already gravity, why make this?", well for the simple reason, Have you ever seen someone fall off the edge of the earth? Well, you havent, because its physically impossible. Wanna know why? Because GRAVITY is pushing us down, and since the earth is a sphere, its impossible to fall. Even if earth was a cube,it would still be impossible to fall of due to the gravity pushing us down from the Larger object. So i propose an idea, We will have the ability to have a button on every brick called () gravity( the () is a box you can tick), and if its ticked, the object you have selected will be the games centre of gravity. This will be very handy when making games especially if your making a game like inception obby or something. Please dont just say "This is scriptable" alot of updates are scriptable yet they do it anyway. You will still be able to jump and run and stuff. Also, objects will be affected by the force of gravity too. Gun bullets however, wont be affected. support or no support. -Skyarex

I think i support. but there also should be something like Insert>object>gravity you can change the gravity of your place. or in a model. BTW i support

Now what if you wanted multiple centres of gravity? (Centre IS spelled that way, it can ALSO be spelled center).

Gravity. The weakest force in the universe. Needs a title fix.

No support, but sorry this is ROBLOX, and ROBLOX physics can make funny vids and stuff like that, it just won't be ROBLOX really. (Dispite all the updates).

@pizzaboy1, Like in real, the biggest object with gravity will be the dominant one.

@Dragon, this will be removable, besides, you cant say no to an idea because of one problem, look at all the benefits, plus you can turn the gravity off and it will go back to regular roblox, wheres the problem?

I didn't bother to read it because of the title. Gravity is the weakest force, it just extends very far.

kinda interesting, not sure if i would go for this or not.

I decided to read it, the brick has to be a sphere. More mass = more gravity, the sphere would have to be really big to be able to keep us attached to it. This is impossible because it is too big for the game.

Yeah, death has a point. If a sphere goes too big it flattens out for some reason.

@death, i know astronomy, I watch documentaries, i do my homework, its the most powerful force, DEAL WITH IT!

@stewie, it can be any shape, ever played ilomilo? thats what im talking about, it doesnt need to be of large scale, only that its big, doesnt need to be spherical, only that its big, get it? ALL THAT MATTERS IS IF ITS BIG! and not even that big.

I didn't read most of the thread, but are you saying if sombody inserted a sphere, then went to properties and set artificial gravity to it, so when a player spawns and touches it, they're stuck to it and can run around all over it?

Magnetism is more powerful than gravity :|

@spaceperry, pretty much, but doesnt have to be a sphere

#42282580Wednesday, February 09, 2011 9:44 PM GMT

@daziel, thats a very bias statement, a load of factors have to put into account. And no, that satement hasnt been proven

Search "Fundamental interactions" on google and click on the first link and read the chart.

@death, ok, im not here to have a debate on whats the most powerful( i didnt see the link ), i here to share my ideas, not have a debate.

Magnetism being more powerful is all relative to size. As you can obviously see, the Earth is a magnet itself, actually! However, it pulls in everything, not just metal and alloy. A standard magnet is weaker then the earth by the millions! However, an earth-sized magnet.. Yeah. It's all size-relative.
