So far, every one of the threads i make gets no good remarks. Sure, shun this if you will, but i hope you don't.
Nintendo did it. Microsoft did it. Sony did it. Ok, not sure about sony. I even called up a friend while he was playing an online game on his pc, and some guy was singing a parody of "cal-i-forn-ia girls are un-behlie-va-ble!" Note I do NOT know the name of the song. Don't judge me.
What did those companies/games do? Apply over 1,000,000 more headsets to the world of Ipods. So, heres what could happen: Roblox could become headset-compatible. Sure, there already is text. But what about actual voices? people could play music and everyone playing the game your on could hear it; You can hear your friends REAL voices; you could sing (not recommended; and, if added, the MUTE icon next to a persons name can prevent you from hearing their noobish, annoying behavior.
I think its unlikely anyone would deny this. Anyone want roblox to be headset compatible? |

ROBLOX is supposed to be kid-friendly. You don't want someone putting their microphone up to their speakers while Microsoft Sam is repeatedly swearing in his monotone voice at the highest speed possible for the human ear to register.
Same with inappropriate music, it's impossible to moderate.
ROBLOX is a game for kids to have fun, not to get yelled at (and sworn at) for having a high squeaky voice and such. |

ventrilico is a website which hosts servers that anyone can set up to talk with other people. You can set a pass to these servers as well, preventing random people from getting it.
It's like a confrence call on the computer. |

Feedback can deafen you before you press mute, here's how:
Somone puts the mic by the speakers, makes a small sound, and it increases in volume until it almost wrecks the speakers, then they unmute their mic, lireally deafening people. |

One, i'm not stupid. I practically have a GRANT in building. (not virtual, fyi)
Second, the millisecond one hears a swear, they can just click the MUTE button next to a persons name.
Third, if anyone was swearing people to death, in the old days, they would get a spanking. nowadays, they would get grounded. Case-and-point. And, finally, when a person TYPES a swear word, one word solves it: repor, or the alternative IGNORE. |

Ugh, i'm sick and tired of my ideas getting shot down like this on the way to ROBLOX...... Yes, I know, theyre in roblox right now. but all they ever get are BAD responses. Like the hat re-texture that could be used to change the color of your hats so you can wear them in games other than yours, the face making idea, (which, I agree, has flaws in it) and, off the top of my head, the "my hair is on fire! hat that has moving flames on it like a gear. What do you people WANT?! |
