Change the promotion/demotion and message deletion system a bit. Make it so we can choose what rank can delete what rank's posts, and what ranks can demote and promote people. Make the demote/promote feature separate. And maybe add an Edit Post power, working the same as the deletion power, except make it a separate power to.
I can give an example. Rank 3 can promote people in Rank 1 to Rank 3, but no higher than 3, and Rank 3 can only demote Rank 2 or lower.
Another: Rank 7 can promote people to Rank 5, but can only demote people at Rank5.
(I know there is the Rank # system, but it does not work, in order to do the above, sometimes, you will not be able to delete the post of the Rank under you, because your Rank # is the same. I am asking for more customization over qwhich Ranks can do what, and to what ranks.)
The deletion and Edit posts system can be similar. Rank 7 can delete Ranks 1-6's posts. But they cannot demote rank 6. Hence, the Rank # system would not allow this.
I hope you understand what I mean by this. Also, If possible, add the ability to have a couple more ranks, maybe 2-3 would be ok. Just an idea, many people want more ranks sometimes. Keep up the good work with the member sesarching features.
If you do a ranking system, and are able to define any of your places as part of the group, but not allow group members to build. Like, its just known as a Group place for Group A. If you blox someone in this place, it adds a KO to your Group KOs on the ranking. So, we can keep track of how much effort people have made. a Group WOs to see for certain ranks, would also be a good idea. So we are cabable of keeping track of KDR. These are WOs only in the Group Place, and maybe ally or enemy Group Places.
Can you also make it so we can Declare not just Enemies and Allies, but create Trade Pacts, Research Pacts, and Non-Aggression Pacts. So, you are able to maybe use the group trade function with other groups, and the research shows you share each others models, and technology. And Non-Aggression, will show your neither allied, nor at war, you stay out of each others way, and are slightly more friendly than neutral. Maybe a Contacts setting too, for showing who the group actively negotiates with. Contacts could also talk to each other via group chat. You can add them to your room, and allies.
Also, like you have the IsInGroup function in the script. Is it possible for you to add something. Like, Once it checks if the member is in that group, then there is a function that checks either Rank number, or rank name. Rank number does not work as well, since some ranks are the same number, but it can be both too. So, you can make a Group Ranked Door, and easily make a small script to put all of Rank 7+ on Team B, instead of making 20-50 scripts with each name on them. This would cut down lag on places with special group features. I bet you guys ould think of many more ideas with the scripting.
I hope you understand what I am saying. An IsRank ### or [name] function. Now, I need to think of what else I have thought of for group features.
Got one, a Group Model ability. To make a model open for only a groupm or multiple groups. You should be able to type manually the name, type in the Group ID, or choose from a list of Your Groups that your in or own. Research partners (Research Pacts) of the groups you allow to take the model can take the model and use it. Thus sharing your groups technology. I know msot of my ideas would take a long long time to implement, but I bet A LOT of ROBLOXians would be thrilled to see these features, especially those in military clans. Many of the ROLBOXians are in military groups, etc... Or make technology for military goups.
