I like her music, good rythem, but lyric wise, she's more like Lady GaGa. And how she acts in her music videos? Try california gurls on youtube, then you'll know why parents hate her.

I haven't really listened to her since she performed "I Kissed a Girl" during New Years Eve in like 09'. Has her voice gotten any better, or do they just alter it in the studio?

more altering in studio. She's like ke$ha and lady gaga. California gurls was a fluke, it was supposed to be called candyfornia, but then snoop dawg came in, and then they changed it around a lot.
