Okay, does anyone remember last year when Haiti had REAL damage to their country? We had these neat hats, and they said they'd be donating if you bought the hats. I do believe that John Shedletsky and other workers used their paycheck to pay for all that. I dislike the mods, but I do thank them a lot for doing that. Then there was an earthquake in Chile, and they got a worse effect, but they didn't need much attention. And then there is Japan. Don't think I'm racist, but I do know that Japan is a rather rich country. Only a hundred are dead, just a few thousand are wounded, and I think that they can pull it off well on their own, as I don't see the hat sales going as well as last time. I'm not buying a hat, not just because I can't afford it, but I think they can get through this on their own. State your opinions here, and constructive criticism IS allowed. Calling names, being really negative and not stating good points to your argument are not constructive criticism. I'd like to read what you guys think. Also, if you do the TL;DR post, then you are just obviously too lazy. kthx

They ARE rich but money doesn't do much for a nuclear power plant explosion

Your city was just hit by a tsunami... But Bill Gates lives their, and he can pay for all the damages himself. We shouldn't help them.

I have watched the news, and I've seen some serious stuff. It's sad that it has wiped out a lot of things, even a nuclear explosion. Can we think, could things get any worse than that? :)

Not to mention 100 death tolls doesn't mean minimal damage to peoples' homes and food supplies. You'll see that 100 will quickly rise as time goes on.

Well, then I'm gonna try and show my support. Even though that means, I won't get to really donate much. :)

ALSO, think about the countries getting help from nations like japan. Where will they get aid now?

Oozle, they could seek other countries, to give help to Japan, and Japan to aid back. Just a thought.

You think Haiti had it worse? Hiaiti's magnitude was 7.0. Japan's was 8.9. Yes they need help.

Haiti did have worse. The people were actually poor. Size doesn't always make a difference.

Countries can help up to a certain point, but sometimes that certain point might come too soon. And I'm getting kinda sleepy. Oozle signing off. :P

Peace out man, you get good sleep. Well it appears almost everyone had a good argument statement. (Except for the TL;DR troll). I'm gonna close off the thread here. Thanks. No more posts please.
