"Ich spreche nicht Deutsch,"...
Ich: I
Spreche: speak (when you use the pronoun I, spreche is originally sprechen)
Nicht: not (don't, in this case, because don't is verb then "not" so, it's like "ich laufe nicht"...ich is the pronoun, laufe is the verb, nicht is do not)
Deutsch: German (the language German...if it was deutsche it is an adjective for something coming from Germany, and if it was Deutschen it means someone that is German)
..."I don't speak German."
"I speak a little German,"
I: Ich
speak: spreche (sprechen, but pronoun I is used)
a little: ein klein (there are many different ways to say "a little," I prefer this way of saying, but it's slang!...this will go at the end of the sentence, because it's usually always verb then noun then something else like "do not")
German: Deutsch (don't confuse this with the other German words, like deutsche, deutscher, or Deutschen)
..."Ich spreche Deutsch ein klein." |
