I open Roblox Studio, and click the "New Place" button to make a new place, and I get an error saying something about my graphics drivers being too old to handle Roblox, and then I click OK, and I get a second error saying "failed to create empty document". I do not, I repeat, DO NOT, want to mess with replacing graphics drivers, AT ALL! Some additional info: - I am running Windows XP Home Edition. Perhaps Roblox is phasing out of Windows XP? Since the record button is also unavailable to XP users. - When visiting a game, it works fine. It's only when I try to edit is when it doesn't work. - In game, reflecting bricks look a bit glitchy. I expect to get no replies, at all, just as all other threads I make on this forum, and have to bump it 20 times before finally getting a response.

I've just tried Roblox with an XP computer, in edit mode. It all seems fine. At the moment, I would suggest getting a decent graphics card. ( I know you dont want to. ) Run a dxdiag, to run one, go to Run, then type "dxdiag" Then look for display, and paste you chipset here.

I am sorry for my ignorance, but what's that you're saying about dxdiags?

Every computer should have a DxDiag (DirectX Diagnostic tool) It helps sorting out problems easy. And did I say chipset? I meant Chip Type. :P

I'm also unable to edit in studio, but differently. When I click edit, the loading window keeps loading and won't open the game. I'm not running Windows XP either, I'm running Windows 7 Home Edition.

I never use roblox studio by clicking "Roblox Studio" on your PC. I may suggest trying to click the "Build" Button on roblox instead of "Edit", but you said you use the empty place, so just (try, i haven't tried this before) to delete everything in your golden mountain range by pressing Ctrl+A and then delete on your keyboard. If this doesn't solve the problem, then get Windows Seven. Is bettar. Don't tell meh just because it's more dated means it's not better, because I have no idea if you tried it or not. So... yeah. ---M i n e c r a f t is awesome! Play it and buy it! :3

Try using Build mode- you still get Roblox Studio. And to make a new place press "Manage My Places"

Nevermind, everybody. The problem seems to have resolved itself.
