There are alot of us that wanted to get the old robox back, but what I'm talking about here, is to reuse test.Roblox.com as a place for the classic roblox. We know that gametest.roblox.com and sitetest.roblox.com is test.roblox.com split up into 2 servers. You may be thinknig, "Admins cannot undo updates." Instead of putting classic roblox into the main roblox, just put old roblox into test.roblox.com. That way we have 2 servers, the main one, and a classic/retro one. There would be plenty of conflicts such as remaking the old physics, lua version, and style to return.
In classic roblox, we would all have all accounts of main roblox in classic roblox. For those who has TBC, and OBC, they would become normal BC, and have a message that says.
"Your Builder's Club membership will be downgraded to BC in this sever. If you want you benefits of (TBC/OBC), please use the main server." In that way, we can have only NBC or BC in classic Roblox. For the materials, if you transfer a part that has a material type that is not plastic, then it will automaticly become plastic. This also applys to partical effects like smoke and fire, and they will turn into sparkles. Our favorite wall climbing glitch should be back here aswell or otherwise there would be an option in a part's setting to make say "Climbable" then it would have a checkmark.
In the roblox places, you would see the old circle studs back, or a the square one (If l-e-g-0 doesn't almost sue roblox again, then we will have the old studs back). Also no bevels aswell. The old health bar gui and chat bar gui will be back too. The text font will also go back to comic sans aswell.
On the account settings, will have our website themes but as in
Roblox 0.25 --2006 Theme
Roblox 0.50 --2007 Theme
Roblox 0.75 --2008 Theme
Roblox 1.00 --2009 Theme from the main roblox
BC Members may get the 2004 or 2005 theme if it exists, or if not, then they will get just the normal themes stated above. Overall, you will see the retro roblox logo on all themes except for Roblox 1.0. Another option will be available is to have walking animations enabled/disabled.
Gear will be disabled, or only as brick battle weapons like the ones you see on crossroads, or the lost flamethrower tool. For hats, the latest hats that we can have is upto 2009 or otherwise all hats from main roblox.
Our characters will have the no bevels design and also circle studs. (Roblox should release a no bevel Robloxian body on main roblox) We will have our T-shirts and making shirts/pants will still be a BC feature.
There lots of things to read about on my post, but hopefully this could be a solution to those of us that want classic roblox back and also without undoing the updates. Roblox is wasting money keeping test.roblox.com up and its no longer under use. When it comes to the moderation system, the old face will be back. Also, roblox may have to hire admins/mods for classic roblox, while the existing ones for main roblox. Otherwise, roblox would choose randomly only any one who has a vertan badge in classic roblox from any years in 2008 and before for become a moderator.
If this suggestion doesn't get supported, the only things that we can get to as close to classic roblox is to go to 2006 simulators, and turning off our bevel settings, set materials to low and disable video recording and screenshot features.
