roblox empty baseplate

So i started off my the empty base plate for my hotel but its too big, and i try to resize it but i wont let me? Does anyone know how to make it smaller?

Go in your workspace on the empty baseplate and resize its x, y if your resize tool dont let you do it

Try to go in roblox studio then you could see a play and a pause button. Jump then press the pause. After, take the locker and click on your baseplate. Then, use the resize tool Hope that I helped you :)

This is what you neeed to do:(I will show you the simplier way) Open the studio (button nest to leave in build mode) then search the 'lock' symbol, click it and then click the baseplate you will unlock it and then you will be able to reaize it. Roy-

Your character CANNOT be touching the baseplate when you resize it. This is CRUCIAL.
