The OLD Trailer was what got me into roblox it showed me how easy it was to build something and there was also so much explosions back then roblox was a building game.
Now Look at the NEW trailer it CLASSIFIES ROBLOX AS A ONLINE SOCIAL HANGOUT NOT A BUILDING GAME THERE IS NO BUILDING IT THE NEW TRAILER WHATSOEVER
JUST A BUNCH OF CLOTHES AND HATS AND RANDOM ROBLOXIANS AS MODELS FOR THEIR CLOTHES IF I HAD NOT KNOWN ABOUT ROBLOX AT THIS TIME AND LOOK AT THAT I WOULD BE LIKE CLICK TO NEXT SITE BECAUSE WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR AT THE TIME WAS A SPECIAL BUILDING GAME NOT ANOTHER FACEBOOK/MYSPACE/TWITTER
Anyway as we talk right now the noobs are taking over roblox spaming and doing all sorts of stuff while the roblox news is just a bunch of hats and gears (That NBCERS WILL NEVER GET) I mean really the only thing that was not about advertising was the Data Persistence post and that actully intrested me because now there are more possiblites with the building Capabilities. Everyone Please hear me out Bring the Old Trailer Back you might be attracting more BUILDERS Not Soical People. Post I Agree if you agree. |

I think you're talking about bringing back the old trailer... but this trailer has been around since I first joined.

Although it doesn't look like it but I have an old 08ter account, called hoola2to (I was younger then, hence this new account) and I have to say I did hate Roblox for the week after they took the old trailer out.
I really do believe now that ROBLOX are going downhill with the updates even now. I support (Even if it is bending a few forum rules) D=

I mean, and I am being serious, Roblox isn't the same as it was back then, I personally loved the more simpler of games in terms of grafics and such. If we were to bring the old trailer back, it wouldn't make much sense to those newcomers, because they would think they were brought to the wrong site.
It ISN'T free anymore you need BC to do lots more than normal.
It ISN'T a building site like we knew it back then.
Roblox HAS Changed, and we all know it.

I miss the old trailer sadly it's out of date but they should make a new trailer old ROBLOX theme about building and visiting places what people can make.
Also the other ROBLOX tracks like Wind of fjords, iron blades, ROBLOXia last stand, happy day in ROBLOXia etc. etc. Are never used also a fusion of afew of their building motto's that they used to use. That's the reason I rejoyced when I saw the 2007 advert for shirts and pants was being used as the advert on the test site even if it is redundant these days. |

those new comers would not be confused because they get to play and build and make t shirts for free so no i disagree with that now yes the trailer is outdated so why not make a new one with the same music as the old ones that highlight good places such as tylermcbrides roblox adventure 2 and perlious skies. some of the none obby/kill spongebob games that are on the front page but they should also keep the castle because it was detailed and look awesome.
now during the trailer show them how easy it is to build like in the last one.
that way newcomers will want to play. |
