Everyone knows about the new Mouse-Lock feature, where you press Shift to unlock your mouse. Here is what I'm suggesting, for those out there who want to make an FPS game that actually works. 1.) Add an item in the Players Tab, that allows for the use of (Shift) to unlock the screen. 2.) Somewhere, maybe in the PLAYER Entity, have a value that says, "MouseLocked" (A Bool Value). This would allow a player to script when they want the player's mouse to be unlocked and when it should be locked. This would help with FPS Games, with the use of Chat-Windows, or some other things. Maybe a pause menu? That would be the best. Reply to this with your thoughts and suggestions to this thread, and maybe the Moderators will here what we have to say.

What is with everyone and this!?!? I mean, is it that hard to NOT HIT SHIFT?

This would be a good idea, but to your comment, 123456789, I think this guy is saying that we can make it locked WITHOUT shift, and make it so that people can't UNLOCK it.

Above, exactly right. We want it so there is NO WAY for the player, under his/her own discretion, unlock the mouse. We can set it so that people, say, in an FPS game, would have a locked mouse so it's like a real FPS game, and during intermission, they would have an unlocked mouse, or maybe during a pause screen. As of today, 5/4/11, they took it off. That may be good also.
