Well lets get straight to the point: I think we should be able to put decals (already uploaded onto ROBLOX) into our blurbs, be able to change fonts and colors and put links in our blurbs. (If you dont know what I mean by blurb, go to the bottom of this post.)
--------------BUT WHAT IF SOMEONE UPLOADS A RUDE PICTURE?--------------
There is virtually no risk of an abusive picture being uploaded as you would only be able to use a decal thats already been on ROBLOX (This means it would have gone through a mod before being used) and therefore couldn't be rude. Also if someone did manage to bypass the mods we ROBLOXians can always report anyting that we see ourselves.

If a link was created it would only be able to link something on ROBLOX to your blurb, NOT something from another website. Mods would go through the links just as they do with decals, simple really.

Everyone who can talk to other robloxians has the posibility of writing themselves a little description just under they're picture. You can see these every time you click on a friends profile or click "View Public Profile" on your own. And for the reasons of this post We're calling it a blurb. |

Why?This suggestion have flaws.
1st,yes,you listed down solutions about the decal problems.
BUT
To quote you

That would already have left a significant mark on the player's mind.
Especially when this is a kid's game.
AND.

I don't really see any decal except faces that is made by ROBLOX.
I've even seen the screamer decal before in part of the ROBLOX decals.
The picture in the exorcist movie.
And also,3 solid flaws.
Lag.
Screamers.
Seizures
Even if I'm the minority here,if you can't fix the no supports,then the suggestion would still fail. |

Probably not seizures.
A flaw is something that neglects the advantages.
So if you can't clear flaws.
The idea does not become flawless anymore.
Its like
"Hey,I suggest 1000Robux per login"
The good?
We earn alot of robux.
The flaws?
Roblox falls.
As long as the flaws remains,
Theres still doubts of the suggestion. |

When a decal is uploaded the mods check over to make sure its ok.
You would ONLY be able to put a decal that has ALREADY gone through the mods into your blurb therefore if anything DOES get through it will be the MODS fault (srry mods)
YES it is POSSIBLE that a sufficiently practised hacker could somehow bypass the system BUT that has EXACTLY the same risk as a decal which i have just explained above.

I was waiting for you to say that.
Blurb = Uploads for free.
Ads = Min 60 tix.
If blurb takes your suggestion,blurb will be ALMOST the same as ads,
BUT,the only problem is,blurbs are free to post.
Therefore,this could lead to spams,
AND,The poor mods will have to check your spams 1 at a time,
and the doomsday equation happens.
Mods gets occupied with pointless things = Less updates and no fix.
Less updates and no fix = Games gets worse
Games gets worse = Players quit
Players quit = Downfall of roblox economy
Downfall of roblox economy = Doomsday prophecy of Roblox. |

They're both reletivley the same.

Just copy and paste.
And
Mods don't even go through this forum
How would they even go through blurbs?
They would only come by when you click on that report abuse button. |
