I'm telling from firsthand expirience, the market fee is murderous. 10 percent is fine, but when I'm only getting half the profit I should be for selling my hat, it just becomes an annoyance. We don't need to have such a huge fee. I doubt that real markets have that kind of stuff either.
Here is an example of why the market fee is horrible-
I am selling the Soviet Ushaka for 1900 robux. I bought it for 990 robux. Guess what the market fee is?
475 robux.
Four hundred and seventy five robux that I can't get. This accounts for 50% of the potential profit I could make.
I suggest decreasing the fee to a more decent number, and treat it like normal taxes. In good ol Pennsylvania (my home state), we have a tax of 7% which I think would work nicely. Then maybe we could play more profits instead of playing break even. |
