After many, many years, the new world of Kantrith is ready. The dawn of a new age of humans is to come. These new humans are now setting up small civilizations. But strangely, in the records of every culture in the known parts of Kantrith, there have been 'Visitors'... what could only be otherworldly beings. Unexplained new advances in technology pop up in all the civilizations of the world. Your civilization has just reached a period similar to that of the middle ages. Strange ships in the sky descend upon your capitol. What do you do?
So, basically, here I have a civ thread where your civilization is visited by aliens, who share with you there secrets. I thought it was pretty original and hope that you think so too. Give me feedback on what you think I should fix, improve, etc. |

Sounds interesting, but I would support the idea of the aliens visiting you during the Paleolithic Era, (cavemen and such) and giving you something similar to a monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
A monolith is a black rectangular "box" that, when touched, basically evolves the person who touched it. In the book and movie, a monkey touches the monolith and figures out how to use tools made of bone. The monoliths were also used to monitor species and to deliver actions to those species.
Bleh, just a thought. |

We can progress through different eras, and you can receive about 3 to 4 new technologies every era. Eras could be, 5 pages or so. Anyone else? |

Of course, it should take time for the aliens to show you and teach you new technology. At least a post or two. |

I find most threads on here are boring(The ones that are good are to far in for me to catch up), so this would be awesome. Gives me something to role-play in other than Star Empires. |
